I attended the arpit training. If you are very new to System Design then you can attend. He tries to cover his own way.  
  
 Other than that he picks a few designs and talks about specific problems like CDC, Kafka, partition, Load Balancer,  etc , you should have basic knowledge on cloud storage like S3 and how the Kafka works. He improves the design as he goes.

Hi what's your role and yoe? Also if you could disclose your CTC?

PS: About me, a college grad who has a job offer froma decent PBC and is looking to future proof his career by learning system design

Arpit bhayani's youtube videos and Linkedin/Twitter posts are really informative, but I was wondering if his paid system design course is really worth the price ?

For those who don't know:
Beginner course (Pre recorded)- 19,999
Masterclass (Live)- 39,999

If it's good I'll ask my employer to reimburse the course, or do you have any better course recommendations ? Please don't suggest Gaurav sen's interview ready.

1. Work hard in your job. Don't complain and waste time. We know everyone is replaceable, but work so damn hard that if at all you decide to resign and switch sometime, it should come as a shell shocker to them.  
 Build a program/product/team from scratch, own it end to end so much that they'll never find anyone close to you who can work with the same efficiency. 
 You'll obviously take your learnings and apply them later on in your next job, but 
 You'll also earn the respect of all your colleagues which might be needed in your future corporate journey. 
 2. Don't chase money early on in your career unless you actually**need** it. Focus on building relationships, knowledge, learning to code (it helps) and earning respect of your colleagues wherever you go. 
 3. Don't get into smoking due to peer pressure. AVOID IT.

What are the best resources till now you got for system design for 1 yoe+

First day of the year hasn't even completed yet and I have seen 3 folks already launching their system design courses on various platforms like YouTube, X(Twitter), and 🅱️inkedIn, with so called discounts.
Saw college nibba nibbis commenting on the posts as well, drool over the courses. Are even freshers being asked high level system design now? Chal kya raha hai?

Is *SYSTUUUM* Design the new Leetcode?

What is best system design course available? 
Could you please list top 3 in order with best as 1. 
Also mention what type of candidates are best suited for each course.

I’m currently going through interview ready- Gaurav Sen. And find it hard to follow since I have almost never done system design. Hence I find it ok-ok , are there any better ones out there? I know grokking is one more. Please provide suggestions with course name and best suited for what professionals(eg , beginner with no exposure to system design , 5 yoe with some exposure to system design , advanced with high exposure system design)

I am 4 months into my first job as a product manager. I have never coded in my life except for a basic coding course in college. While I am always eager to understand technical concepts and tend to ask a lot of questions around the same I still feel there's a huge gap in communication. 

This leads to poorly estimated timelines, and often difficulty in assessing feasibility of ideas.

I wish to learn more about software architecture, data management systems and the development processes in general. 

While I know I lack technical expertise, I don't want to discount the possibility of this just being a communication issue within the team. This is a series B startup just entering the growth phase, so no proper processes are set up as of now - again something I will have to streamline.

My question is to all the product managers especially who don't come from a technical background - how did you bridge this gap?

Ignore any other famous names like Gaurav Sen and Real Engineering, they are just meh.

Gaurav Sen's course felt like he never really designed any system. Too much useless theory and he himself looks a lot confused in the course. 

Real Engineer is all marketing. Not worth 40k for a course. You can use that to buy a lot of ( books resources + mock interviews ). 

His pricing strategy of course is what to buy next in his house.
