I am recently gonna shift to Kalyan nagar near Manyata tech park with 2 of my college mates. Both of them have their offices in Manyata tech park and I have my office near forum mall, Koramangala. The reason we are shifting from SG Palya, near christ to Kalyan nagar is that they both have their offices 5 days a week while I have to go only twice a week. My commute is gonna be 14km long one way. We searched for flats in cox town, frazer town, Kodihalli, but either the flats were not available for bachelors or were going way over the budget. At the end of a 3 days long hunt, we found a decent place to stay in kalyan nagar’s, T Krisna Reddy layout. What are the multiple ways to make my commute more efficient. People of blr who already have been commuting please share some advice.

HRs in my company are so woke they've now added gender neutral washrooms. Already have a feeling this will become a new makeout spot for office couples.

I used to work in a early stage startup. Got selected from campus placement and they provided hefty fix pay(16 lpa) + 16 lpa ( spread across 4 years including esop and bonus) (totally fraud to come on day 0 in IIT). They now fired me. I interview at many startup and they are expecting too much from 6 months experience candidate. I am in between of offer from Deloite but they are only paying (11 lpa fix). What shall i do? According to market shall i take a downball or need to keep patience?

As a startup generalist, this has been unsettling, personally. What should all of us be doing to stay ahead of AI curve? What upskilling is required? What will be still relevant in 5-10 years?

Mt. Everest is 8.8 Km tall. But that does not hint how long your route around the mountain is. 
You take the standard South Col route (Nepal):

Lukla to Everest Base Camp:
- Distance: Approximately 62 kilometers one way.
- Takes around 8-12 days depending on acclimatization stops.

Everest Base Camp to Summit:
- Distance: Approximately 20 kilometers round trip.
- about 6-7 days, including acclimatization and rest days at various camps.

Total
- Combining these segments, the total round-trip distance from Lukla to the summit and back would be approximately 142 kilometers.

Important Considerations
- This distance doesn't account for elevation gain, technical difficulties, weather conditions, and acclimatization needs, all of which make the journey significantly more challenging.
- The ascent involves overcoming an elevation gain of about 3,500 meters (11,480 feet) from EBC to the summit.

Distance: Approximately 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) round trip.
This includes climbing from EBC to the summit via the South Col route and typically takes about 6-7 days, including acclimatization and rest days at various camps.

Climbing Everest is longer than you think

For me it was always startups and now looking at the landscape I think it’s very hard. For 8 years, I just wasted my time.

Anything I am building is failing. Couldn’t raise any funds, non of my products reached mass market or gain enough profits. Have skills but non to utilise on!

Indian B2C is extremely hard, and even though people think Saas is great, bad news guys, Indian business rather use excel than pay for jira. There is a saying now - “Easier to earn a dollar than a rupee”.

Have meet so many founders and VCs. Most of them lost touch of reality. Either moved to US or on leave from their own startups.

Only think I know is going through a complete mental breakdown and no one to look up to. My gf left last year, can’t even get any jobs in this market neither can build something useful.

What gives your life meaning ?

What is the reality of isb placement? Being the inflated placement report what is the real fixed salary that students get? How long does it take to pay off the hefty loan?
