I am just submitted my documents for BGV but the first company I worked in for 3 years was small travel based form with around 10 employees and no pf. Just basic salary slip and getting salary in time. 

Will it be a problem in my BGV. I have an experience letter that's it and some salary slips. The company I worked in was 10 years back.

Some context.
Worked at an early stage startup around 1.5 years ago. This startup works in the Computer Vision space and does a lot of experiments(no direction at all, will take some project from some fintech company one day, some project from healthcare, and then some project from some random company, basically these go nowhere), I worked with one of the projects that involved document processing and it got some revenue.

At my last day, I was made to sign some agreement which included non compete.

1.5 hears later, today, I’ve joined a startup that works in FinTech domain and has been doing pretty good, and they sent a BGV check to my previous employer, and those guys are saying they won’t do BGV and that I’m violating the non compete agreement. They think entire world is their competitor, honestly, they’re nothing and no one even gives a fuck about their existence.

What can I do here?

Hi,

I am about to join a new organization (Org D), and they are currently processing my background verification (BGV). I have a concern regarding this process.

I am currently working for a mid-sized company (Org C), which does not conduct detailed BGVs.

I started my career at Org A in January 2018 as an intern and was converted to a full-time employee in September 2018. During the transition from intern to full-time employee, I briefly joined another company (Org B) for 8 days due to some confusion. This short stint at Org B is visible on my UAN.

I am worried about how this might affect my BGV. However, I do have all the necessary documents from all the organizations I have worked with.

Please advise.

Now got selected for a product based company for 8lpa.
In 4.3 years I took 2 years leave without pay for my higher studies and returned back to same organisation.
The problem is I didn't inform this to new organisation.
They have initiated my bgv. Really afraid will they find this out and revoke the offer?
They asked me to submit my pf passbook .
Is it okay to submit my 6 month payslip as it also contains the pf details?

I am currently working at a startup and was previously working at an IT MNC for 3 months. I was put on the bench and laptops/assets were not even delivered for 2 months of requesting. When the assets arrived there was 3 weeks of compliance and regulatory training before which my position was eliminated as a result of business restructuring and downsizing. I got my startup offer (strategy type role)by then and I resigned from the IT firm with proper reliving letter and fnf settlement. I have now got an offer from a boutique consulting firm(after working in my startup for around 6 months) . I have however not mentioned this IT mnc in my resume at all since I did not gain any kind of work experience at this firm and it was not adding any value to my resume in terms of the types of roles I am looking for, I wanted to keep my other internships and startup tenure as they were more valuable. Is this going to cause an issue if I undergo a bgv process in my new firm? Should I submit my IT firm service certificate during bgv at new firm? .I have all the proper exit documents and there is no overlap of employment anywhere. Please advise. I am a 2022 pass out.

I switched recently from Quantiphi. This was my first switch. It has been more than two months now. And I've still not cleared the FnF with them.


My calculations show that I've to return around net 1.5 lacs ruppees of my prorated Bonus to Quantiphi as part of FnF. So I've not been pushing for FnF and nor Quantiphi has communicated anything about it.


They have given me separation letter. So I'm confused weather I should ask for FnF or not?

If I do not what are the issues I can face in future?

And i  got my first job after 4 years after my education and i told the recuiter that i have prepared for governement jobs and i got married in the offer letter they are asking for proof for education and career gap how can i prove that i have prepared for government jobs

Do companies disclose compensation details, internal pay-grades, internal designation/grade of their ex-employee to the background verification agencies employed my the ex-employees's new employer ?

Asked to resign. What are all options do I have?

I have 4 years of total experience(2 years prior MBA then an year gap, I was preparing for MBA entrance during this time and 2 years post MBA). 

Now I’m looking for jobs, can I show an year of work at my friends startup? To fill the gap?  

Can you tell me how can it impact during BGV, can they check via UAN on PF? Or I can go ahead and do this, it will be a game changer for me if I can add an year more of work-ex. Please Help!!

I didn't mention a short stint( around 2 months) in my resume which I did almost 3 years back and I've gotten offer letter from another company. Should I disclose this in my background verification form or just continue not to list it. Its one thing to not include it in resume, not so sure about BGV form. The good part is the short stint didn't deposit PF so it does not reflect on my UAN number. Also the company is no longer in existence.
