It’s as bad as they say it is
That’s it. This is the post. I’m at the point of exhaustion where I can’t even find the words to rant.
I think its a team specific scenario. In my team, its genuinely not at all bad. My manager is good and team is great.
But dont feel bad to quit if its getting really toxic. I quit my previous role cause the work got repetitive.
More power to you man.
My boss is not the worst. I felt the same way for the longest time. But everyone sees the reality sooner or later. It’s like saying you’re a functional cog in a broken wheel. I’ve seen the best talent lose all self confidence across teams. We’ve destroyed all our acquisitions except one or two. We care about all the wrong things. We lie about everything.

Welcome to EdTech. Unfortunately you’ve chosen the worst of em all. Personally I would suggest nobody join BYJUs. It’s to put it nicely a fuck all organisation. Most of these EdTechs are.
And may God help you if you’re in the sales dept cause you’re supposed to work like AI. You barely get any kinda work life balance or holidays and the pressure is going to be horrible. Plus work timings and a 5 day work week are a myth.
Move away from EdTech is my suggestion. Ironic coming from me as I’m also stuck there. It’s fun during the good times but it’ll show you hell during other days.

It indeed is.
Toxicity. I am literally forcing the management to make my manager sit for an appraisal meeting. It's so fucked up and crazy. 😂
