My offer in a leading MNC got revoked last Friday. I had another startup offer but said no since they were offering less CTC. I’ve been applying to jobs since Monday and also working out some referrals. The current market scenario is really scary!! Even after cracking interviews they ain’t rolling out offers.

It’s demeaning to witness that even after having the required skills I am not landing a good offer. Mentally feeling very down and weak. Can anyone help me out for further up-skilling and if you’re kind enough to offer me a referral. I shall be really grateful!

Its been 3 months since I left my last company after completing 8 months of internship, I rejected the full time offer because I was exploited and work culture was very toxic, since then I applied to more than 100+ jobs online and hardly converted 5 interviews and got 1 offer for part time which is soon going to be revoked, assuming from the company's behaviour. At this point I have lost all the motivation to work, improve and apply for jobs I am tired and drowing in self doubt. It even kills me to see the people who are not skilled as I am are getting good jobs and salary. With all this my family is not so supportive and not a single day has passed where I didn't get into arguments with my parents.

I work in a well know product company but still I am unable to get any interview calls or even a email. Once I apply, all I am getting is rejection mail or no response. Is my resume bad? I have gotten promotion in my current job and also did some great achievements. What am I missing?

Sadly I got D band, I had resigned but due to personal circumstances I couldn't find an offer and resumed back. However timing was wrong so happened around March end when I rejoined. So being a C3B my salary is now reduced by 20%

I am thinking to take a break and upgrade my skills. I can't study along with job. I am trying to switch but somehow not getting any interview calls for Scrum Master role. Feeling lost.

Hi, I am in my final year of my B.Tech and I just got to know that I won't be getting PPO/Full time offers from two Internships due to no opening in the ML team  for both the Internships. (Market down).

Hi everyone , i am currently working as 1yr exp dev working in startup which recently had taken series of layoffs . Though i am saved i now am trying my best to switch but sadly not getting response. Need help on job switch from senior employees

I am a senior software engineer with 6 + yoe mainly into backend (java and golang tech stack).

I am currently serving my notice period with no offer in hand.(my last day is April 30)

I have applied and given interviews to almost 12 companies and failed after clearing 2 or 3 rounds.

I feel that I am losing confidence in my skills when I face such rejection even though I shouldn't.

I feel like whatever answer I give during interviews is wrong and I constantly try to lookup the internet in the middle of interviews in fear of getting rejected.


Even though I know things very well I try to validate it and then mug up whatever is written on the internet and whenever a new question is asked which I haven't seen earlier where I would be required to think , i blank out.


This has never happened to me earlier.. I need some advice on how do I keep confidence in my skill and start solving things on my own.

Hello all

I work as a software developer at a seed -> acquired startup. Total work ex is around 1.5years. I am looking for a change now. 
Till now I have applied to some bigger companies with referrals and some through job portals, only got one call till now after applying at many of them.

I want to switch gears in my application now as I want to switch as soon as possible. The next step would be cold emailing decent startups. 

Could you guys help me with my approach to cold emailing and share some best practices? I don't have much experience doing cold emails because I've gotten previous jobs either through campus/angellist like sites.

PS: The number of calls/applications is making me a bit anxious
I've tried dropping LinkedIn connect messages to a lot of recruiters and engineering managers but no luck

Job Hunt

I have got an offer from Oracle, but in their service based domain, hike is fair but its all fixed comp and no ther benefits.
I am applying to so many jobs but getting rejected. Not a single call from a product based company.
I don’t want to work in service based as my experience in Infosys is pathetic.
Till now I applied for about 200+ jobs but the problem is-
Getting calls only from some unknown startups and their budget is low if they compare to my offer.
Not getting shortlisted in any product based even with referrals.

There is only one thing to be happy, that I have an offer and even if its service domain in Oracle, in experience I can show comapny name as Oracle and it won’t be mentioned whether its service based or product. But internally I know it won’t help in long run. It will only be showing in my linkedin that I work at Oracle.

Frustrated with applying jobs and getting rejected everywhere. 2 month of notice remaining, not sure what shoudl I change in my strategy or what should I do. Overthinking is also cherry on the cake.

I have been part of one company for 9 years. I feel like bored and mundane.  I am trying to switch jobs for past one and half year and unable to crack any interviews. Each interview slips because of some reason. Now my current company based on my performance asked me to find job somewhere else within in few months.. I am still unable to clear interviews.. Sometimes feel very downward because of this but deep inside I feel like I am more worth than this.. Market is also so uncertain now.. My salary is 32L.. I feel like I am stuck in my career. Can anyone help me with a sde or frontend or backend developer role I'm a 2024 passout worked in a startup for 10 months. Here's my skillset C,c++,Java, Javascript,Nodejs, SQL, python , a little bit of react, 
I mostly worked on list views, redirection , data modelling using mongoose 
I worked on a project where the pharama companies can request their new license or renewal their expired license seems easy but need to pass through various checks including government and different users so how to handle all these were too hectic

Hi all, I have applied on more than 2000 job applications across linkedin, cutshort,instahyre,indeed,etc. Unfortunately I have only received around 6 interviews so far and half of them were from early stage startups.
