Joining extension

I am scheduled to join EY in 15 days, but my current company manager initially agreed to an early release. However, due to recent project-related changes, he now requires me to serve an additional month here. I understand EY's expectation for me to join promptly and would like to discuss how we can navigate this situation. will they extend this much time? please suggest on this.

Do companies extend joining date ? I requested new company’s hr for extending my joining date as my current company manager isn’t releasing early . As a result need to get joining date extended by 2 weeks Hr informed he will need to get approvals and will get back next week Monday. I also shared him mail as well but didnt get any reply from his side. I am kind of scared if hr will extend joining date now q😥

I got offer with 50% hike from accenture and accepted but I did not resigned from tcs yet. Its been a month now Got mail from accenture HR on confirmation on joining date and asking to confirm on the LWD so they shall update DOJ accordingly I have YoE 3 and Ctc 8 What should I do?

Hi @EY I am holding an offer from EY gds india for the position of Senior Consultant, they provided me joining date as 15 july Whereas my notice period end on 25 july. Have ask hr to revise the same he told me , try if you can Negotiate the notice period in current org ,if not then drop us An email after the month will revise the joining date . Is this normal? As I already resigned in my current organisation so little bit worried About this ,as HR person is hardly reply (as usual)

Hi, 2.5YOE - SDE My LWD is on May end but I cracked an offer (saying 2M NP) and got a DOJ in the 1st week of May. My current company is not ready to reduce the NP in any way. How to convince the new company to extend the joining date? Or how to go about it? Will it lead to an offer revoke?(I am unable to secure another offer too!) It's my first switch and please tell me ways to tackle this situation. Thanks a lot

Hi, I have resigned from my organisation which has a 90 days notice period clause. I have another offer which I need to join in 60 days. My current employer is not at all agreeing for early release. Can i join a new company while being on notice period with my current employer? What are the implications?

I desperately looking for a job switch but due to my notice period being of 3 months I'm not getting any call from good companies. The only calls that I've received are from service based companies. Can anyone please suggest a trick or a solution to my problem.

I work for a start up and am currently on maternity leave. I am supposed to resume my work from the 2nd week of may. And My husband has to move to a different country for work. He is moving early next month. So I will have to take care of some of his responsibilities here, while he is away from home. Having a 6 month old baby and my father in law to take care of as well. I have decided to take a break from my career and sort things out. Once my husband settles down, we will move there and then I'll start looking out for opportunities. Now the question is, since I'm resigning during maternity leave and the project has no dependency on me. Can the manager or HR ask me to serve the notice?? Or will I be given an immediate release? I want an immediate release. Please advise!

Could you please clarify if i do digital signature and accept the offer letter from EY company, implies that once accepted and unable to join, any issues may arise? Additionally, is there a policy where once accepted but not joined, future access may be restricted? like not allowing to join next time in EY? please suggest.
