Layoffs incoming

Quite a large number of people were asked to resign gradually over the 3 weeks. The impacted personnel include SEs,Some PMs, and EMs too. Looks like a massive downsizing. Around 30 percent of the folks seem affected, but I'm not sure on that number. No severance. A month of notice.

Heard that Paytm is planning to layoff 10% of entire work force. Across all levels. Heard cases that folks who were hired at market premium less than 30 days ago are now being asked to leave the organisation. And the layoffs will be hidden under the guise of mid year appraisals. #PaytmKaro

are there going to be layoffs again in byjus? If yes then in which department?

I got to know a senior leadership member at a popular startup suggested to deliberately do poor appraisal for an employee so that she resigns herself. Bad times ahead with companies forcing employees to join back offices and planning silent layoffs. PS: By "forcing" I mean not leaving employees with much of an option other than to quit.

Is it true that Flipkart has laid off a lot of people recently? Across PM, tech, business roles? Can anyone confirm this?

Just like last year, this year too... Somehow found out about it via news. There was chatter about it over the last couple of days, but didn't think it could just happen. It's a long weekend now and not even sure when people will be informed :/
