Hey folks! I am here to seek co-learners. It's my third attempt to pick up coding and yet again I am procrastinating. It's high time that I now learn to code so that I can build those side projects which I have been planning to build for months!

Qualifications: BTech IT from tier-3 college, Pass Out in 2021, CGPA 7

Skills: Python + DSA (Intermediate), HTML, CSS, JS (Intermediate).

In 2021 I was preparing for government job and was really passionate about govt services but I failed in CDS II 2021 and lose all of my focus and my parents want me to get a job in related field so in January 2022 I started looking for job in IT but I was not good at anything and so I thought I wasn't job ready and start learning to Python and DSA and Web Development but in meantime I procrastinated and wasted so much of my time I was demotivated with zero focus and after months I am still not good at anything I don't have anything to show on my resume no projects, no experience nothing.

I have wasted more than a year just thinking what should I do and got nowhere. Lately I started to learn web dev from theodinproject.com and have completed foundations. Tbh i wasted time during this learning phase also and manage to complete this in a month. And after that I started to learn reactjs (haven't completed it yet)

And now I am really desperate for a job. What should I do to get a job with minimum preparation like give 1 months and get a job? I am not looking for something specific. I don't have any goals. ATM I have no idea what I am passionate about.

I'm 24 and unemployed and How can I turn my life around? All those years in school and college I never worked hard enough but now I regret it. I want to work hard now but have been procrastinating a lot. I need guidance on how to get a job and what to learn further to get a job. 

I would really appreciate it if you guys can guide me.

I need a person with whom I can discuss DS and practice mock interviews, someone who can keep me accountable for my progress and learning.

Here's what I'm thinking, we discuss a topic at the start of the week, prepare that topic during the whole week and then at the end of the week we sit down and discuss that topic.
We can also prepare different topics and teach each other or can dive into some whole new topic.

Other ideas are also welcome.
P.S - folks looking for immediate job change , please don't respond, i want it to prepare slow and also I'm a family man so sometimes I might postpone study sessions due to festivals/holidays.

Hi guys,
As you have already read, I am planning to start a roadmap in 2024, YES !

I am not one of those Didi Bhaiya’s doing it for Fame/money. The twist is I am planning to do it anonymously on grapevine and will try to solve as many doubts as i can on DM’s ( Again Anonymously)

I have the roadmap that is completely free, videos, lectures, notes and everything is collected from amazing creators and is already free and i will never recommend any paid course, I PROMISE.

If i get 30+ comments, then i am happy to start the Day 1 to Day 24 ( 6 hours each) detailed roadmap.

Also, since all of us here are working Mon-friday. 
The roadmap is for 12 weekend (24 days) and IMO that is enough to into Faang game preparation. If you need more you can practice for another 2-3 months on yourself.

Next month I will be getting laid off. Our startup is shutting down because of no funding I am a frontend dev there it's almost 5months I have been working there before that I worked for 8 months as a frontend intern in another startup.
My question is what is the main platform I need to focus on or any technique or anything you want to say that might help me to find a new job pls do comment It would be super helpful. If you were in my position what step you would take or any technique you would use that might help you to get a job easily without waiting for months?

So I have been recently learning WebDev and have learnt HTML,CSS,JS and basic APl's and authentication (OAuth etc) but I am not sure about learning React from the course I have been pursuing.Therefore if anyone can help me in deciding where to learn react from (possibly free preferred) it would be of great help. I (27, Mumbai, India) switched from non-tech background ( commerce) 2 years ago , and started with learning  frontend development and grinded very hard despite all odds. And i recently joined (March to be precise) as a React JS web developer. We are a team of all freshers except for the TL of course. Before getting the job,  I only focused on the web development part and never learned DSA except for solving codewars sometimes. Now, in my non office hours, I try learning DSA and solving codewars/neetcode problems which takes all that time and I am also reading a book on javascript. But sometimes I get into a dilemma, like it happened today, where I wonder if I am correct to learn DSA and improve logic building and dive deep into javascript, OR should I instead invest my non office hours in diving deep into React JS and also improving my CSS skills (where I suck a lil). I really get into this dillema somedays and end up getting anxious. Please tell me what you think. It would be very helpful, and I would be grateful.  Thank you.

Quite a lot of employers are posting online claiming to be hiring, but candidates seem to be not getting any response after sending email/DM to that HR who posted. 
  
 I myself have applied to an entry level opening at a very well known and establish vehicles related product company. Literally entry level role with 6 months to 1.5yr YoE (I have 1YoE), yet I've not got any response. And they keep reposting the same opening over and over and over, to the point where I feel they are actually not hiring, but just updating their hiring work quotas as they were lazy AF HRs all through the FY23-24.

Looking for a Tech CoFounder preferably in Bengaluru

So here's the background, I'm a product marketing professional in his mid-20s. I'm sick of living every month from pay check to pay check.

I feel insecure in my job and can't see myself doing this for the next decade or so with so much uncertainty on my head.

I've always wanted to do something of my own and shifted to Bangalore with the hope that I will find a partner along the way.

Though I haven't built anything of my own before, I'm trying to grasp product management. Marketing is something I'm good at so no worries on that front.

For purposes as stated above, I'm looking for a guy who can handle everything tech while building something in SaaS. 

Now's the time and age so why not give it a shot?

Here's what I'm thinking, the job goes on as usual for both of us, but we can take out a few everyday post working hours to brainstorm something of our own. And the weekends of course.

Best shot - we start something of our own, worst shot - we gain some initial experience in entrepreneurship and don't have to feel burdened by insecurities every time our manager demands something different from us.

Comment below if you're based in HSR and are willing to join me - to handle everything tech.

P.S. I have a 1-BHK so workspace won't be an issue. Seeing this go on for a minimum of 5-6 months before we can break even.
