Try to pick something that has some back end as well. This will shine your resume among others Apart from that - leetcode (grokking the coding interview) and system design by alex xu are two main resources. Think of this as a long term game ( 10-20 years atleast) These skills will help you to switch as well as in your career on long haul.
Is Grokking the coding interview worth it?.
Is this course for beginners?
Absolutely, it gets you a refresher on all data structures and coding patterns.
Once done in 1-2 weeks, its easier to leetcode after that.
I always found cold start to leetcode difficult.
Grokking the coding interview sets perfect intro to dsa according to me.
