Learning to ride a bike

I’ve always loved the idea of riding a bike and want to buy one now (mid segment 400-650cc)

But I don’t know how. My family and friends don’t have one.

How can I learn to ride on one before purchasing? I know how to ride scooters tho

Suggestions will help 🙏 Thanks

I rented a commuter (Yamaha FZ) for a few weeks to learn. Since you already know scooters, one week is more than enough for you to learn.

I ended up renting from a local renting shop. Just googled for bike rent around me. It cost me 7.5k for a month.

Do a test drive to get a feel. Can also rent if you want to try some more

Although, having gone from Benelli -> Activa, only buy it if you're into long drives. In city they're a headache to maneuver of you're skinny like me. In that case get jacked first

For beginners they can start with 125cc segment bike, unlike large cc bikes these are less weight and there are good bikes to choose from in this segment.

400_650 cc is huge leap from nothing to monster of bikes.

Get something in 150-250 cc , drive it for 2yrs ,it would help you understand and poslish your skills on bike , as they wont have harsh penalties if you mess up.[irl sudo rm -rf]

Bike recommendation

Which bike would you recommend to a beginner in the 150-200cc segment, I have around 6 months experience riding a 100cc bike. Budget around 1.5L.
