MBA ! For a chem post grad ?

Hi there ! Currently I am working in Department of Media as the technical editor. I transitioned into this new avenue because I am from Chemistry background and have 2 years of industry experience . I didn't got job for long 4 months after leaving my previous company. I want to get into managerial role. Should I pursue MBA ? Online or drop off my current job.
