Man saved by his bad habits

All of us at some point of time go through this phase, fortunately/unfortunately I am going through it too! Just wanted to know from experienced people, how do you find the right person on the basis of just a few questions? Or what questions you should preferably ask when you are choosing for a better half?

First of all, I don't support diversity recruiting. I think there are plenty of things that are completely unfair about it. I am GEM myself. I think there are some forms of diversity recruiting initiatives out there that shouldn't exist. But god damn, every other post I see is someone whining about diversity. And even on posts that are not about diversity, someone finds a way to bring diversity up and blame it for all their problems in a tangentially related manner. It wasn't like this 5 years ago. It really wasn't. So what changed? Some of the posts are just hilariously bad. A kid talking about how a recruiter told him not to apply because they're only taking diverse candidates? Many of you want to become Software Engineers or PMs. Diversity recruiting sucks, but it isn't the cause of all your problems. If you're too blind to see that, you honestly don't have the judgement you need to work in Tech.

I got into a startup (informal) and invested my savings and also took loan from friends and family. It would take a couple of years to clear up but I am happy thwt I didn't let go.of the opportunity and the learnings also realised the following. 1.I enjoyed the thrill 2.When something has to go wrong,It will 3.My priorities changed (family,health,mental peace) 4.I am enjoying what I have more than ever and not cribbing about what I don't have. I am about to touch 40 and lose all savings(instead loans on the head) but I have never felt so calm ;) Anyone with a similar life altering experience 😉

Mine's terrible at organising things around the house and his room, leaves food outside on the table at night, leaves lights, geysers on all the time. Sits with his legs on the dining table.

Personally, I think the underlying factor for me has been being strict with myself. I try to work out 6x a week on a regular basis. Using my finances wisely with healthy meals. I mean, a burger from Louis Burger or a Pizza from Pizza Bakery is baller but in the long run that's a real killer. Finally, I have been trying to prioritize sleep which means don't scroll reels/social media for 30 minutes before bed if it is 1am already. What about you?
