W in Witch started this. Operating Margin was consistently below 17% for Wipro. Now it's 16%. Those who don't know about margin it's like profit out of 100rs, so total Revenue is 100rs, then profit 16rs. For Tech or IT sector, 25% is called a healthy margin. HCL 18% Infosys 22% TCS 27% Cognizant 14% Apple 30% Alphabet 25% Loss making will be in -ve territory Zomato -10% Swiggy -53% So, you can decide the boat as per ops margin. Higher the better. Do u know ur companies ops margin? ( Or u just go to have samosa n tea in all hands)
