Millennium Management

As I have spent decent amount of my time in Software industry now, I see that Millennials (late 20's- early 30's) are moving towards management position (mostly 8-10+ years of experience). You may have had awful supervisors who micromanaged you, or a bad team leader who was extremely insecure. It's time for a change the system. To change the system, you must first be a part of it. I know it's easier said than done, but be more collaborative with your juniors. They are looking to you for counsel. Also, a reminder to Gen Z: Be patient; we millennials have gone through a lot. :D

The Glassdoor reviews are really bad, but I want to know from someone who has worked or knows someone who worked there. Because nowadays Glassdoor has become very irrelevant.

Some companies like ET Genius and Mighty have been selling these mutual fund portfolios based on risk profile - have any of you tried these? Did you find it useful? (Full disclosure: I work at INDMoney, so slightly conflicted, though I work more on US stocks and not MFs).

Last week there was a townhall meeting in my office . In that the CEO announced that company revenue jumped 2X and sets the expectations for the current year The hike will be low compared to the last year as the global situation is not doing well. Beauty is he throws out a promise that if company revenue grows 4x from this year then every one in the company will get an additional 10% hike on next year appraisal . I joined this company recently. I don't know what they are up to in future . Is it a good deal???
