The rape is a law &order issue.  Converting evrything into a emotional political event has been the success of politicians.

Where are national security forces though. It's a shame to see this happen. Our HM should resign, couldn't do anything about Kashmir or Manipur or WB.

Disturbing videos are surfacing online that a mob of more than 100 people have attacked the protesting doctors in RG Kar Hospital. 
It really feels like a politically motivated mob.
This Independence Day has really shown us the truth of Independence we have.

I always post out a heart felt note on Independence Day for all the brave warriors who stood out for us. But today, somehow it feels wrong to post it.
It feels I am putting up a farce to hide the real truth. What happened in Kolkata was a slap of shame to all the people of our society. And the bigger problem is that this incident somehow did get some news but there are so many cases which are either unregistered or if registered, didn't even get attention. 
This "Let it go" approach of Indians will definitely take us down someday.
I still don't understand what's the mentality of these rapists or what is triggering them to go to such lengths. 
Independence is really far right now.

The person who posted this is a Doctor I believe... Isn't the one thing you really want to be a doctor is Empathy .. empathy towards people .. empathy towards your Patient 

Have people stooped so low that we are not talking about the what happened to the individual to take such a step and educating people about stress and mental health rather we are gonna cry that we work more and no one is grateful for them

My mother is diagnosed with Grade 4 liver damage today. She also has Type 2 diabetes which "does not subside"

She doesn't eat any sugars, cut out starch, very very occasional outside/packaged food, no alcohol, has been working (job and household), works around clock in the house
Taking allopathic medicines for diabetes, now may start diet restrictions for Liver damage too

Strongly feel she is being mis-diagnosed. 
The hospitals and diagnostic centre are trying to milk healthy people too. How else do you keep up revenue

Have you faced similar situations? What can be done here?

P.S. Most of the doctors we have met are big C, the ones who sound genuine are the ones not treating 😪

- Women in large numbers gather to protest against the alleged sexual assault and murder of a female postgraduate trainee doctor at Kolkata R.G. Kar Medical College.
- The Indian Medical Association announces a 24-hour nationwide withdrawal of non-emergency services from 6 a.m. on August 17 to protest the incident and subsequent vandalism.
- Essential services will be maintained, but out-patient departments and elective surgeries will not function during the withdrawal.
- The IMA condemns the vandalism at the hospital and calls for authorities to ensure the safety of doctors and healthcare workers.
- The probe into the trainee doctor's death has been transferred to the CBI by order of the Calcutta High Court.

Is there any one else who feels India doesn't have good doctors anymore. I have seen some great hospitals for orthopaedic surgeon and none of them able to treat my knee pain.
Whenever I visited any doctor either they pick up phone call of their friends in mid consultation or just type the medicines name or irrevelant tests. 
Now I feel like I can't trust any doctor in India. 
Very less portion of good doctors remaining here.
Did anyone of you faced bad thing in hospital for you or your parents.
