NCR folks, would you move to bangalore for ~40% base hike?

I got a job offer of 10 LPA base as a Business Analyst at a BFSI company. The work is full remote with an option to do hybrid as well. The office is in Bangalore and I really want to move there since it’s just the starting of my career and I feel like I could learn a lot by being in office, but idk if I can afford Bangalore rent and COL with this base. Any inputs (including your thoughts on if I should stay remote or move to Bangalore) are appreciated.

Hello, I have 5yoe at big4, currently working from my hometown. However recently I received an offer for a product company (pre-sales) which needs me to relocate to Bangalore. The hike is good 45% but considering the CoL I might just be saving 10-15k more per month than I do now. So, my question is, is it worth joining the product firm and relocate?

I like my current company and the work I’m doing. I also love the city I’m in. Is moving to Bangalore for a 30% hike with it?

Hey folks, I recently moved to Bangalore for a role at angel one and I am not liking the city. All my life I lived and worked in NCR and I’ve realised that me and my wife can’t live anywhere outside NCR. No friends in Blr plus far away from home plus its just too expensive. Want to move back, I am looking for product rolesin NCR(SPM,GPM). Can someone help here with a referral? I have a very strong fintech background but can’t find anything for Ncr location on other platforms. TIA

How's the current job market like according to you guys? More specifically in Bangalore. I recently got an offer from an upcoming digital commerce player. They're giving a 35% pay hike and the role is decent. I don't love it , I don't hate it either. My only issue is it's based out of Delhi, a city I'm not a big fan of. To give more context I've been born and raised in Delhi but I've been living away from home for 8 years now. It's a city thats familiar but comes with its down baggage. I find the people too aggressive and don't have much of a circle left there. Got laid off from the Bangalore startup I was working at some 3 months back. I have a decent runway but frankly it's not making too much sense to keep paying rent in Bangalore anymore. I keep oscillating between taking this offer and letting it go. Thoughts?

I am joining a new company which is remote first. Does it makes sense to be in banglore? Given that if i move to my home town, I will save 95% of my income. I am confused because I also like banglore and dont like the idea of living with my parents. But if i stay at home for 2 3 years, I would be able to buy a property in banglore when i move back in future.

Hello, My company has started Hybrid working model, I’m currently stay with my mom in my home town (7 to 8 hours from Bangalore by road). Couple of my team mates are going to office, most of the colleagues are not. Do you think I should move to BLR, considering like 2 weeks in Bangalore and 2 weeks in hometown. Found a place in BLR which is like 18k per month.

I got a decent hike and better job/brand. My current role is wfh until they call, but new role is in Mumbai. Initially I was not sure had a convo with parents whether to take it or not. After discussing all this, finally when I said I'm gonna accept my mom broke and started crying. (Cause I'll leave for mum then) In dilemma what to do? I had resigned from my previous org couple of months back I have 1 year 4 months of full time experience for a frontwnd developer role.. My previous comp was 13 LPA fixed, I got an offer from another company, they are giving me 16 LPA fixed (remote). Is this a good hike? It's not even 23% increment. Usually I have seen people getting atleast 50% increment on their previous withdrawn salary while switching and sometimes even more. People get more than this during annual increment. And also this job is remote while most of the jobs are in Bengaluru and there comes additional living expense cost if I take a job in Bengaluru with a offer more than 16LPA. Please help me how should I go about this given the market situation. I was expecting around 18LPA in this company even if it is remote.
