NCR folks, would you move to bangalore for ~40% base hike?

My previous organisation was 100% remote, I have got two offers, one of them providing around 40% hike.

the other option is giving lesser base hike but I can take approvals for 100% remote. (need to convince manager, that I can work independently)

What would you choose? Help me understand your POV?

My Take - Many people hate the life in bangalore but harsh truth is we don’t have many opportunities in NCR. Eventually people move to Bangalore.

It depends on what your priorities are. Only you can decide that for yourself. Life in Long term in Bangalore is frustrating for Delhi folks. Some people seem to love it so again depends on you. Personally I have faced so many incidents from cab drivers, auto drivers, rude security guards, threatening landlords that I will choose not to live there again unless I have no other option in life.

Yes, move to Bangalore if there are not family responsibilities. Easier hiring . Also, NCR doesn’t have much to offer . Just see if remote work is sustainable.
