Need suggestions on personal finances

Is this over diversification? Age:22 Nifty50 ETF: 20% Sensex ETF: 20% Nasdaq: 20% Nifty Next 50: 20% Nifty 50 EQL W: 10% Small Cap Fund: 10% Emergency fund, gold and bonds are separate, please suggest a better approach.

I want to start investing in mutual funds. I want to design my portfolio for the long term goals(15 years min). I was confused about what the mix of funds should be. I can take risks now but I don't want my portfolio to be volatile as fuck. Like 15-16% returns with some diversification(5% or you suggest) in debt maybe. I’ll go first. 1. What kind of investor are you? I am an opportunity investor, and I do buy good stocks whenever they are in reasonable valuations. Below are my monthly numbers. 2. Where’s the majority of your investment portfolio ? I have three RE investments and one of them has loan. And I’m planning to buy a property in Goa or HP. 3. What’s your monthly investment breakdown? 1.7L/ Month (approx) 60k - SIP (mutual funds) 60k - stocks (smallcase, us stocks using vested) 30k - as opportunity fund, this is transferred to a different bank account 10-20k - for experimental investments in crypto, nfts, and some trading. This is a new segment and I don’t have much experience in this and that’s why starting small here. 4. Anything else you want to share? I am learning to invest on a daily basis. Reading, videos and podcasts are my sources. Some of my tops picks are Whiteboard finance (Marko), My first Million and Smart Passive Income, finance with Saran, and Akshat Shrivastava.

Need mutual fund suggestions for SIP for 20 years.

Hi folks I'm a 21 year old, investing 1000 each into 35 mutual funds Taking my SIP to 35k per month Just to set the context, apart from this, I'm passively investing into ipo's and stocks as well for the long term. I've read at a lot of places that investing in more than 10 mutual funds is a foolish choice, because most of your stocks are going to be overlapping. But I don't understand why it's called foolish? There can't be a 100% overlap of portfolio between any 2 mutual fund houses, there is always going to be a significant difference, which adds to the risk diversification any which ways, because my money is spread across multiple set of stocks and across different fund manager brains as well, for e.g. one might sell some of my stock at a high or a low, while other might not. My diversification is - 45% small cap 25% mid cap 10% large cap Rest growth or sectoral I'm open for any feedback/criticism or suggestions even.

I am 22, and I'm going to be 23 this November. Just got into my 1 job. I am determined to invest about 45k per month. (Includes funds for short term goals too, like an international trip once a year) Out of which I am already investing 12.5k in ELSS funds. I'm a 22-year-old with a monthly salary of ₹68,000. Currently, I have ₹5,00,000, split between cash and various investments in Mutual Funds, stocks, etc. I plan to restructure my portfolio according to the following allocation and also initiate monthly SIPs of ₹35,000. Looking for suggestions on refining this allocation, and what should be my monthly SIP investments?( Please suggest the MF/ETF categories to consider) Current plan: Gold - 10% Stocks - 15% Mutual Funds/ETFs - 40% Bonds - 30% Experimental Investments (REITs, P2P, etc.) - 5% Note: 1. This fund is exclusively for investment, and I maintain a separate emergency fund. 2. I've been working in finance for the past 3 years and am familiar and open to diversifying into different and more complex financial instruments. Suggestions on this are genuinely appreciated.
