Next career move

I am working as head of data and analytics for a small test preparation startup from Portugal based out of Bangalore . The role involves creating of data engineering platform and analytics system from 0-1 , the volume of data is small and not much interesting work as data literacy is less . Salary is 1 cr+ , with very good wlb and manager but not good work . Should I stay more than 2 yrs if my brand will be diluted and won’t get into good. Companies , I worked in walmart and razor pay . What should I do , in these small setting is my career over

Bro, earn as much as you can and gtfo rat race. If you work there for say 3 years you would have enough cash to ensure your family lives a decent life no matter what happens. After 3 years when you’ve accumulated enough corpus, see what next you wanna do. Yes your skills might be kinda diluted but I don’t think there would be enough companies to match your CTC Anyway. Remember: people would die to be in your position. Have fun

But what about career growth

If you have good wlb and good pay, start with side projects that establishes you as a product guy instead. Jumping to another ship will always keep you in shakles of being an employee. You can explore the current AI boom, there are lots and lots of exciting things happening there.

Start slow, you have job security, good pay and wlb.
There is no guarantee that your skills will grow in next company, it might be that in next company you might end up doing same type of work with bad conditions. If its skills you are worried about, only way to grow them is work on them yourselves. Start building stuff, there are so many blogs/youtube videos for data scientists to do ai stuff, learn some no code tool and launch

lol you are acting like fresher who got into testing. Just cause a friend told you so, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have your own rationale.

Maybe you can join a service based as a manager and by service based I mean like big 4 or MBB where you can go till partner level . That would be big 🤷🏻‍♂️
