Hello folks I noticed that I haven’t received any interest credited to my account for the past year. Is this delay affecting others as well, or is it just my account?

To be honest, I’m starting to have some doubts about the government’s handling of these matters lately.

Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Did every one get your EPF interest for FY 24 Credited? I am asking this to know if we are all in the same boat or i am the only one getting this special honor?

Curious if anyone else has received their EPF interest yet? 

According to online sources, it was supposed to be credited by March 31st. Checked my Umang app but haven't seen it credited yet. 

Any updates or insights on when it might come through?

Opened my EPF statements and have noticed that I am not getting my EPF interest since 2021.

Important thing worth mentioning here is that I did not make contribution between May 2017 and  Jan 2023 as I was working in another country. 

What do you suggest is happening and how do I resolve it?

So I was checking my PF balance through SMSing “EPFOHO UAN” to +917738299899. To my surprise, it reflected balance only with current company PF and did not include balance from previous company PF even though I had successfully transferred PF. Is this normal? In previous PF ID I do see everything was withdrawn for transfer request but the same amount I don’t see under the current PF ID. Does that mean the transfer is kept in separate entity which would not reflect in current PF ID? I am kinda scared if there is any chance of losing the previous PF amount. It was getting interest until transfer and now I don’t see that amount nor its interest acquired. Please help me through this concern

Hey guys, I left my previous company on Mar22. I accumulated sizeable pf amount. Then I made a switch to new company. In may22, i get a message from PF that they are auto transferring my previous pf balance to new pf account. However, i now realised that my amount had been deducted from prev account but never credited to new account. Can anyone please help?

I joined company A and worked there for 3 Years. Now I have switched and joined company B. 
EPF has two accounts. One for company A and one for company B. 
Now the problem is when I try to merge both the accounts it rejects my request as my basic salary in Company A was greater than 15000 and irrespective of that company A made a contribution in EPS (Employer Pension Scheme). 
Now without closing the EPS account from Company A there is no way to merge the EPF account. 

When I contacted company A, they said they don't have any solution for this problem it's been 10 months with the same issue. 

Any suggestions/solutions???

I was  checking ITR portal & found out they have deducted TDS but not submitted for the month of April May & June (Q1)
For the rest of the months they had it deposited.

I have one week of overlap in my pf history in 2021 , After that I changed 2 firms but didn’t received any background verification notice . But now when I am trying to change my bgv is failing. 
I have not received salary as well as pf from the firm which I left after a proper communication with hr but doesn’t have any email communication.Need suggestion on this .

Finally processed my ITR after multiple follow ups, and they have shared difference amount
Let's say Tax I calculated was Rs X
Tax Govt calculated Rs Y
I agree with Y, and Y minus X = Rs 2660. No problem paying that

But, the demand says payable amount is Rs Y
But I have already paid Rs X. Why haven't they considered that?
I should be paying the difference now.

What to do in this situation?
Have you faced similar situation?

Hi All ,

I am facing issue in PF details of previous organisation. 

In EPFO account PF history DOJ should be 2015 but there is mentioned DOJ and DOE both are same due to this 3 companies declined my offer with reason “discrepancies found “ .

Meanwhile I have requested to previous organisation for correction but it’s been 7 days no response.

Please 🙏  I need help if someone have any idea that how it can be resolved it will be really really helpful for me . I am already serving notice period and offer I got is on hold due to this issue .

Don't work but get rewarded with pension

I have a IndusInd bank salary account(Gurgaon), where last salary was in 2019 jan. Haven’t been using it since then… Tried to check balance today.
It showed a negative balance of -6500. WTF!!
Worst part, bank employees at Bangalore says I have to close account in Gurgaon.
Would want to understand if similar issues had been faced by others as well.

Back in 2021, I joined a small company as a fresher with a promised CTC of 3.2 LPA and a 3-year bond. However, after joining, I discovered the actual base pay was only 1.8 LPA, and my monthly salary was just 10,500₹. So, after five months, I broke the bond and joined Accenture as a fresher. 

Now, almost three years later, the previous company's advocates are sending me notices demanding 3 lakh rupees as bond repayment, and I even received a notice from the court yesterday. 

I'm not sure what to do next. 
Do you think this will affect my future job prospects? 

I have records of that company in my PF account, but I don't consider it as part of my work experience. 

Do you think future employers will ask for documentation for all companies listed in my PF records?
