Notice period

Today I got a call from the HR team that I've been put on PIP. I have been on Bench for 2 months and they are doing it for Cost cutting. Furthermore they asked me to get a project in 2 months otherwise I have to self resign. My doubt is if they forced me to resign after 2 months in case I didn't get any interview calls, Will they give me notice period (3 months) salary???

How do I put an option of notice period buyout in front of my manager? I have recently resigned and have a 2 months notice period. I want to get it reduced to 1 month. My manager is not willing to do it and is acting weird after I have resigned. Any suggestions on how to get this done??

I work in an MNC and the notice period is 90 days. due to this, my opportunities became narrower. Three recruiters directly told me they want candidates who can join in 30 days. Irony is those same companies posting linkedin urgent hiring.

Have resigned before getting a new job and need to find another one in 2 months How to explain HR why I had to do it.. they were going to force some of us to resign in few months, I did it before that. Can someone help pls

My employment was terminated last month from the organization’s side but they have put things like “his performance was average” & “he left the organization in his own accord” in the relieving cum experience letter. I am not much worried about the performance part because I have good experience letters from my past organizations and believe would be the same in case of reference checks. Should I be worried about these? Any suggestions on how to move forward with future applications would be helpful.

I applied for the opening at JPL (Jio Pvt Ltd) in June of last year. Received the interview call on 4th July and concluded the entire process with the final HR round on 17th August (already painfully slow). This was followed by a period of complete silence from the HR's end, which finally broke on 30th September (after probably 30+ follow-ups) when they gave me a verbal offer and gave me confidence for the final offer release within a few days. Well, the final offer came on 27th December 2023, close to 3 months after the verbal offer (again, after probably 40+ follow-ups). Joined on 16th January 2024 (due to some emergency), and was treated to a GREAT campus in Navi Mumbai. --And this is probably where everything good with JPL ends. After spending 2 days, I understand that things are not what I expected from any Product organisation, and that I made the wrong decision. Gave myself 30 days to ensure the feelings were backed by more experiences, and I'm not acting impulsively. Day 31, I started interviewing with other organisations, and fortunately was able to get in touch with the HR from another organisation that I rejected for Jio, and they were kind enough to resend the offer letter. Dropped the bomb on 8th March 2024, startling everyone because people usually don't like leaving their comfortable lives at Jio. My L1 and L2 aligned on a 14 days notice period, but the "smartasses" in the HR department thought its a great idea for me to serve the entire notice period of 60 days, and thus I'm stuck here till 6th May 2024. Opening the forum for people with any amount of experience to ask questions about the hiring process, the culture, the turn-off, the decision to quit, ANYTHING.

I have put down my papers and my next joining date is 2 days before the last working day as per the notice period in my current org. Is there a way to reduce the notice period by 2 days ? I don’t have any dependencies on me. I have few earned leaves as well. Can I trade them off to shorten the Np or is there a better way ?

The company haven’t paid us 3-6months of salary saying that there’s a delay in raising VC funds. They also didn’t pay TDS and gave us Form 16 for ITR. I reached out to our client company where I worked briefly and they were happy to offer me a job there. I’m dangerously out of money in savings and it’s still uncertain in my current company about any funds. So I have given a early date to him because I really need their salary and joining bonus to survive actually. I thought I can immediately relieve from my current company as I don’t have finished projects and haven’t involve in new. But they are not responding to my calls and mail requesting for immediate resignation. What should I do now ?
