When half of Bangalore is struggling to find water to wipe ass, this is unnecessary.

- rainfall has reduced
- > 70% lakes have dried up/covered up by builders
- its not even feb and there is shortage of water everywhere. There are people literally carrying jugs of water on their head like villages if you head out after evenings.
- brigade/sobha/prestige societies with flats > 1.5 cr have put out notices with water supply being cut for more than 6 hours everyday, wtf is Bangalore real estate really 
- water supply here was really bad initially ( hard water, polluted water) but the water shortage in feb only is really worrisome.

I want to understand homeowners/aspiring homeowners - how are you planning for this? Are You even worried about this?
Or even people thinking of settling long term in Bangalore, thoughts about this?

Why would an govt authority allow more pesticides into food? Especially when our spices are ridiculed in international markets for such things and our protein powders have pesticides in them.

This water shortage thing in Bangalore is pretty depressing.

There is an extreme shortage of water but no one on this planet seems serious about it. People are busy making memes around it , poking political parties , blaming the government. The government is blaming other governments and that's it.

Imagine there were 280 lakes in the city now there are only 15. Imagine once Lalbagh and cubbon park were connected and there were elephants living there.

How can a random land mafia dry up the lake and build stupid buildings illegally purely for their profits? They will profit from it but whose resources they took? Nature's resources that were meant for everyone.

That land mafia must be chilling in Atlantis hotel in the rooftop swimming pool and here we are drying up.

In the end , only the one sitting at the top would benefit from it and the one who will suffer is common person and they are still not realising how badly they will suffer in future.

If you don't have water what are you going to drink? 500 2000 notes smoothie? No amount of money can give water. These land mafias and politicians will import fresh water for their families to drink after depleting Indian resources. What are you going to do ?

And then this government brings  CAA law to bring more people to our country where the existing citizens don't have enough resources.

WAKE UP SAVE INDIA FROM POLITICIANS. 

Anyway , this is not a propaganda post against any political party because all parties are at the end corrupted, they will exploit everything to make money and then safeguard their family by sending them in foreign countries. The one who will suffer is us.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar revealed that about 25% of Bengaluru's population depends on tankers for the supply of potable water. Efforts are being made to ensure equitable distribution of Cauvery water to all citizens in Bengaluru.

My area has gone under a severe water crisis. It's such a pathetic situation right now. No water in kitchen and bathroom taps😑
It's some issue with the government with the local people about the Borewells from where the water is fetched, due to which water tankers have gone under strike. 🤧

What’s your take on this in general and how it will effect in overall brand name in front of other countries..

A government that is obsessed with PR has just launched a rebranding campaign for the entire nation.

Don't take this post negatively but think hard and put your views. We all agree that India is doing great at this point of time but no one , literally no one is talking about the danger future we have in front of us in coming years.
Below points need immediate attention and action 

1) Huge water crises in all the major cities and it will only get worse each year.
2) Corruption still relevant in almost all government works from land registration to traffic fines to railway ticket fines, you name it. 
3) We really need one child policy for some years now otherwise we can't imagine how dark the future is in all terms, from food to employment to natural resources.
4) Almost every food product from oil, ghee, butter is contaminated and the quality is just getting worse, to meet demand and to increase profits. Also corruption here.
5) The weather is just getting worse because of all the concrete jungles we have created and this will also get worse , thanks to our never ending population explosion.


Barack Obama rightly said recently that we should focus on improving the health of earth rather than finding life on Mars.
Earth will still have oxygen even after nuclear energy wars.

Sometimes I really think that we need real Thanos , who is the only one who can help solve these problems.

From the past few months I'm seeing news of all the big projects of National interest being parked in Gujrat. Be it GIFT City, DREAM City, Chip Manufacturing facility by Tata, 2036 Olymics stadium, 2 new smart cities, center for AI excellence, Cholera Solar Park, Bullet Train stations, etc?
I'm happy for all the work happening but it seems unfair that all great projects are happening in Gujrat. 

If trade is a reason, there are other states as well in western coast like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala.

I'm not trying to make it political, but I feel it is. 
If it's not political please give your reasoning. I want to be wrong on this.

Why is everything being built in Gujrat?

Maybe your lenses are coloured. I will list 3 different projects from corners of India -  
  
 1. Jewar Intl airport - Delhi NCR  
 2. Coastal roads - Mumbai 
 3. FinTech City - Chennai  
  
 Many relatively smaller initiatives like reliance met city went to Haryana, MH signed 1.4 trillion$ MoUs in Davos.  
  
 States like GJ, MH, KA, TN have a friendly investment policies for many years now. Check which all states have their own pandals in Davos.  
  
 Tatas wanted to establish a manufacturing base in WB and we all know what happened there.
