never work hard for your employer. never work hard for someone else's eyes. never work hard for worldly recognition. work hard because it makes you feel good. those who work hard only to gain validation from their employer are usually the ones who later start hating all employers in general.

Hi everyone, I am looking for job opportunities and have received a callback from a startup that has around 20 people in the company. 2-3 are US based, others are developers based in India. I have 1 yoe and I wanted to get opinions about pros and cons of working in such a company. I know learning will be good but I don't want to be burdened with work all the time. Working at such an early stage startups scares me mostly for this reason. All opinions are welcome!!

Hi friend, I am sharing my personal life with you all. Kindly address me what to do, I was born in poor family, my father was a small business man my mother was a house wife. In 90s my grandfather was in power to rule in our house no one can disobey his decision. My father is two brothers. Big brother has no childers. I am the only son between them. One day my grandfather decide to give me to big brother. At the age of 3 I was away with my real mom. They happily treat me as a our child, One day I also called him papa and mummy. Don't know how but I did it, takes courage 💪 for the first time and then it was usual. They spend around 18 years on my care. I become adult now and goes for higher study and leave the town where they stay. So I am the link between both of my parents they both want me, somewhere there is a compition between them for me, not sure. My real father always supports me that your first priority is your big father and mother and Then me and your real mother. I was connected with my real father and mother after so much when I was come for further study. I can not explain you the hole story guys. But I am connected to both of them. If they divided or share me its not there fault it was my grade father fault. I always make sure that there bonds become strong day by day. But some conflict were there between them. My question is to you guys is that, I was stuck into one thing the empire my big father and mother has created should I aspect that they should give me or not. My real father says don't think such things. You will not get anything. My real father is so negative person. But he says what ever is mine you get after me. I am earning well in my life and want to create my own empire. But if they give there property it boost my speed for more. My big mother is close to her family. I think her decision will be last. What to do your opinion 🤔 Life is short live it or dead.

I guess I am against most of people who live in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai or any tier 1 2 cities. Why is there so much addiction to smoke, party culture and losing our own moral values? I guess a pack of cigar cause anywhere between 100 to 200 and weekend party anywhere perhead to 2000. If you sum up I see that it goes to 10k overhead. Dont you think that money can go into useful way of either personal development or contributing giving back to the society? What are we losing here and where are the moral values that are taught to us going? To add on so much hookups and adult life. There is nothing to gain but so much to lose I guess. Please add your opinions...

I am a frontend developer, working in a service based company, still have 1.7 years of experience, I dont know how I fell into this situation, but I got ownership on the frontend of a very large enterprise app in our project and our client is a big banking American company. At first I was content that I was learning angular and making proper decisions to keep things smoothly, now it is eating up my life, and to say this is the First development project and first application I am working in my career. I conveyed that this thing is too much for me in the beginning itself but nobody listening and now all are behind my back on updates and its killing me from inside, what do i do in this situation? I am not able to switch due to long notice period and even the recession is at large. What do i do??

I'm feeling burnt out in my current role. Two years ago, I joined a SIEM vendor as a Cloud Security Analyst, but the title was a bit misleading. I've actually been functioning more as a Site Reliability Engineer. I've been pushing to move to a security focused team for a while now, but with no official security experience on my resume, it's been tough. I stay on top of all the latest security threats and trends. I even built my own home lab to experiment with replicating attacker behavior and writing detection rules to catch them. I'm aware of current geopolitical trends and their impact on cybersecurity. I truly believe I have the skills and passion to be a great security analyst/ engineer. The challenge is getting past the initial application stage. Despite my skills, I'm not getting interview callbacks. For example let’s say, I could potentially track and respond to an APT before a breach occurs, I can't showcase this ability without an opportunity. So, that's where I'm hoping you guys can help. Any advice on how to gain the experience needed to overcome these application rejections would be greatly appreciated.

I agree inflation is everywhere, Recession is going on ,AI is here to help you increase your productivity or to eat some of the jobs too , Many Indian expats are returning to India , at the same time many of them are also giving up Indian citizenship, i know tech is booming in India but on the other hand we became the most populous country in the world , unless you are from top IITs Nits and iiits or top B-schools , it's very difficult to secure good headstart at entry level in such a competition, although in the long run experience matters but it's really difficult to secure good entry level jobs so what you will suggest:- 1.Keep on fighting in such a pool of applicants in govt job , other entry level jobs with Tier 1 candidates or in cat for tier 1 b schools(according to me tier 2 and tier 3 b-schools aren't worth the time and money) as a GEM 2. Go for masters abroad in a good university within 1 year or 2 , live frugally for 2-3 years there , earn good money , repay the education loan( if taken) , save for 8-10 years and then return to India to either diversify the sources or invest smartly

Currently working as an iOS developer at a startup, but not feeling curious about it anymore. I'm thinking of learning something new, like Go (Golang), to move into another field. Is this the right choice? Can anyone suggest anything?

Liabilities and high interest loans rising, household savings falling. It's a very worrying statistic if people are borrowing money just to stay afloat.
