Opinion on Resume length

How many of you believe that a moderately sized resume is preferable to a forceful one-page or two-page resume? Additionally, for those who conduct interviews, do you genuinely prefer the one-page format

I'm hiring for developers, and 1 page formats is what I prefer, though only 20% have them

How does your HR short list these resume considering 80% of them will only look for the keywords you share not the competency, don’t you think we miss a bunch of good resume

I prefer 1 pager, I'm not rejecting others. I have to spend additional time scrolling through 4 pages of stories

Contrarian opinion - Force fitting your stuff into a single page does more harm than having a 2-pager.

Never go beyond 2 pages in any case. Always try to keep the most critical content on the first page and only nice-to-have stuff on the second page (if needed at all).

I am hiring at different levels from multiple years, here’s my take -

1 page or 2 pages won’t matter until it’s not stuffed with generic gyaan and jargons.

Readability is very important, after all it is for a human consumption

Avoid putting long objectives, people know the “objective” behind sending those resumes

Use a crisp headline of resume “Role + Industry/Area + YoE”. It gives instant picture to a reader of its worth going through details or not.

1 pager resumes please. Putting everything together on 1 page is also a skillset ;)

1 pager is more than enough. Prevent putting your photo on the resume. Totally unnecessary

1 pager is enough. If you work everything in your resume what would you say in your interviews!

Looking for Resume POV

I have 17 yr experience, director sales in adtech & finally made an 1 pager resume. I totally love it. But will it be looked down to be too simple?

Thoughts on a 2 page resume

Why is a 2 page resume so widely hated? Talent and hiring managers - would like your take on this as well. Do companies really auto reject if you have a 2 pager?

Can someone please suggest a free resume builder application.

Most resume builder websites write FREE on their home page, but once user creates resume and tries to download, it asks for payment. :P
