PLANING MASTERS or MBA
1. Canada or USA 2. I’m a ( CSE ) Should I opt for MS or MBA 3. What’s the best org or way to start preparing for the same. 4. What sort of exams will I have to give. 5. What are important things I should take a note of. Any advice will be super helpful.
You have not provided your background information or career objective. I can provide data from immediate circle (80% tier 1 and 20% tier 3-4)who took similar decisions 6-10 years ago. Almost in all cases, CS MS guys are earning far better than MBA (Including Sloan or other top 20 MBA). Some MBAs who are in consulting earning at par of MANG but their work life balance is bad. Even in one case one guy had to do MS post his MBA to get job. But this is only data in first 10 years of career. In long run, MBAs may come ahead. Also keep in mind that, MBA cost almost 5x compared to MS. These are all for 🇺🇸.

Any idea about the dataset regarding India
Hard to get apple by apple comparison for India. Most smart people with CS background are in USA. Very few top CS grads are in India but they are earning at par or slightly more compared to McKinsey type consultants. But, in India, most successful friends are MBAs due to own startup. Note that this is 7-10 years old cohort when 1Cr type salary to developers were unheard of. Next 10 years might be different.

Do not do mba in us
I repeat do not do mba in us
Repeat this few more times
Ignore academics, college, work, etc
Only thing to note - Mba you get only 1 yr opt while for MS you get 3 yrs(1 yr + 2 yrs stem extension)
Which gives you 3 attempts for h1b lottery in MS vs just 1 for MBA
Everybody I know who did MBA and wasn't rich and took edu loans absolutely regret it
Nothing is worth more than mental peace :)
