If it’s just the pin code that is wrong, don’t bother. If being used to travel, it really doesn’t matter. Might only matter a bit if used as address proof. Then too I don’t foresee problems given the rest of the address is good. Couple of assumptions: 
 1 your passport has been delivered. 
 2 police verification is complete.

yes, both are done and I have the passport. I got into this issue as I moved to a new place then searched on internet for pincode it was something else. But when I visited local post office they told it was different. hence asking.

Hi I am new to the whole process of creating a passport and want to ask how other people who may have had a use case similar to mine went ahead with getting a passport.

My use case:
I have been living on rent in Bangalore since the past 4-5 years. My family too lives on rent in Mumbai.

I mentioned this because as far as I know one needs a permanent address and address proof to submit for a passport, can someone who has dealt with a similar use case help me out please?

Hi, I have wrong date of birth in education certificates. Aadhar, pan and passport has correct date of birth. I have joined a IT company in Sep 2020 and got verified all documents. Now will it create any problem if I switch company?

Any idea what’s the process an HR follows to check the background of a candidate. Any tools or resource they use in this process.

How does background check work?

Got a call from an HR of an edtech firm and they asked for PAN Card number on the first call itself. Said it was company policy as otherwise people apply from multiple IDs.

Is it normal to ask PAN/Aadhar number without so much as a first round of interview as well?

Does the PF give a consolidated passbook(total amount from all the employers until now) ? 
Or does it show a passbook for each employer separately?
My EPFO passbook website isn't logging in and always shows incorrect UAN/password. I raised a grievance but no luck.

So I was checking my PF balance through SMSing “EPFOHO UAN” to +917738299899. To my surprise, it reflected balance only with current company PF and did not include balance from previous company PF even though I had successfully transferred PF. Is this normal? In previous PF ID I do see everything was withdrawn for transfer request but the same amount I don’t see under the current PF ID. Does that mean the transfer is kept in separate entity which would not reflect in current PF ID? I am kinda scared if there is any chance of losing the previous PF amount. It was getting interest until transfer and now I don’t see that amount nor its interest acquired. Please help me through this concern

Currently working in service sector 4.3yrs of experience and 3.26lpa is my package.
Since I am from bca background they put me in bps (bpo).  Currently working in react project.
Now got selected for a product based company for 8lpa.
In 4.3 years I took 2 years leave without pay for my higher studies and returned back to same organisation.
The problem is I didn't inform this to new organisation.
They have initiated my bgv. Really afraid will they find this out and revoke the offer?
They asked me to submit my pf passbook .
Is it okay to submit my 6 month payslip as it also contains the pf details?

I want to see my EPF Passbook, but when I am logging into passbook.epfindia.gov.in it gives invalid UAN/password/token/captcha . But the catch is with the same id password I am able to login into UAN online services.
Not able to understand why this issue

Need some advise. 
My name in marks sheet is SURNAME GIVENNAME while in Aadhar it is GIVENNAME SURNAME.  I need to update my EPF name as it currently doesn't match with Aadhar name. I've two options
 
1. Mark sheet name to EPF - This require correction to aadhar
2. Use name in aadhar for EPF - In this case, my marksheet name doesn't match aadhar. I'm afraid if this causes any employer rejections in future as part of their background checks.
