Hi folks recently made transition as a product manager from marketing.My CTC is way below below market. Have spent around 8 months in the current company as a PM started giving interviews last week got 6 calls about to successfully convert one of them with many more companies lined up. Have been asking for 100% hike for salary correction as per market standards but companies are not even ready to give even 50% hike. Have you guys been facing the same issue ?

Hello I have been working as a developer for almost 3 years now. I have been pursuing design at side and want to transition to design as career (UX/product design roles). Need help on navigating roles and salaries from anyone who has transitioned/seen someone transition and has knowledge on this. 1. Apply for entry level roles or senior roles? 2. How to navigate salary discussions ( if recruiter says since this is your first design job we can only pay entry level salary X which is less than my current salary as a dev)?

When I am looking at the opening of product manager I am amazed that only couple of opening are available from Hyderabad location. Is the market of product management in Hyderabad is bad ? I really want to work in Hyderabad. Any info experts ?

How is the hiring market right now for early career professional in product role?

I have been applying on various job portals - LinkedIn, Naukri, Instahyre. But not getting any shortlists. Asking for a referral feels like a transaction because the other person does not know me. What other strategies have worked for you?

Have been trying to switch for the past 6-7 months. Initially till June I was actually getting calls. After that in September I did not even get a single callback. No interviews for September and October. Everyone out there is just suffering. An acquaintance daughter called me and she was crying she could not land a Business Development role even for a mere salary of 20-25k p.m. i could not help. My resume is fine as I have had it vetted on r/resumes. I have 2.3Yoe. Nothing is working. I just wish to die. I wanted to save money for my master's as my mother cannot afford to pay cause Father's dead. Nothing is working. When will all of this become at least bearable?

How is the job market out there currently? Is there anyone who is trying and getting phone calls from companies? Are you getting any response? Lemme know kindly

Me and my friends aren't even getting shortlisted for an interview.LinkedIn isn't working, direct referrals isn't working. After multiple rounds they just decide to go the other way. And this is happening with experienced talent. What the hell is happening!

I'm currently working as DSE at Infosys from june 2022 ,i am willing to make a switch to a product based company, but I'm getting almost no interview calls, only calls that i get are mostly from small startups. Can anyone suggest me on how to secure interviews
