Hi Grapeviners, I have ten years of work ex in performance marketing and CRM. I started job search actively from Feb 15 this year and landed first interview today. 

How bad is the market out there. I usually get hired with in 30 job applications, also I apply to the role only if 70% and above role match with my previous experience also use referrals when available.

Also please roast my resume https://stonedmind.tiiny.site/ have redacted wherever necessary to stay anonymous as possible. For the first time in my career I have a doubt that my resume might not be upto the mark

I happen to finally go for premium since I ran out of invites. And bro I’ve been bombarded with job suggestions left and right . I have applied for 3-4 hours straight, just can’t believe it.
Just a day back my feed was dry as a desert.
So if you’re looking for jobs go for Premium at least till you get few offers

So I wanted to understand, when we get job opportunities on linked in and we apply too but why there’s no one from the hiring team connects with us ? It also says to apply on their website but no response. 

Like for example, Myntra has lot hiring positions and keep getting same notification week on week but no one contacts from their team ? 

Even if we are not selected, there should a notification right?  Why can’t we get in touch with the hiring team or again it all depends on referrals?

I'm incredibly frustrated with LinkedIn's job application process. It seems like the job tab never works effectively, and I wonder if others share my experience. Finding direct job opportunities with organizations can be challenging through career sites due to the overwhelming number of listings. It's unclear whether applying on LinkedIn results in direct communication with HR or if it's merely for display. I haven't received any direct calls from companies after applying on LinkedIn. Only we will get the calls from consultancies through naukri, Consultancies often prioritize immediate joiners, which isn't feasible for those with notice periods like 90 or 60 days. Any valid suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hello guys; I have been actively applying to job/internship openings on LinkedIn (It might have reached 50+ by now) but what I get is either they ghost me, or reject me.

There's only 1 or 2 companies where I actually received a response but even they ghosted me after submitting practice assignment. Also; the rejection mail of each company is the same so I am starting to think that most of the jobs are automated by bots or something.


Can anyone suggest an active job search platform where employers post the role with the intention to hire employees, even look through the candidate's resume and respond instead of ghosting?

I worked as a SWE for 2.5 years at an Indian MNC, I honestly didn't like the project as my daily work used to on a legacy technology, My manager never approved me (or anyone for that matter) to move to a different project with good tech stack and challenging workspace. So, resignation was my only choice without any backup offer, which I chose and later I unfortunately had to undergo a surgery, My doctor had advised me to take 3 months break from everything and stay home. It's been 6 monts since I left my job, currently I am revising the concepts of Java (Core & Advanced), SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap along with Spring Boot. My problem is do recruiters consider my profile, even if I get an opportunity, do recruiters consider my salary negotiation, and does my career break affect the hiring process? Please guide me. Thank you in advance!
