Do you feel bad while giving poor rating to the drivers, if they were behaving badly or were rude to little extent. Personally I feel bad when I encounter these kind of behaviour, I feel bad like they are doing so much hardwork, why make it difficult for them by giving them bad reviews or ratings, so I keep my feelings aside and forget about whatever happened.
It's not that difficult to just shut up and keep driving. That's the least I expect and in return i give them a 5 star, sometimes I even tip generously.
Imagine if you are rude to your manager and your team mates. Would you expect them to give you a 5 star rating during appraisal review?

If you can't be a little civil or polite, atleast just shut up and keep driving. That's all I expect. There is no excuse for rude behaviour, doesn't matter what the job is.
