Folks who bought real estate in Bangalore (primarily for living in it), what are some things that you wish you knew earlier before buying the property? Also what are some things you would advise to new folks who are looking to buy property now? I’ve been looking to buy a flat and have mostly finalised on A+ builder(Prestige) society but wanted to hear from experienced folks once. And I’m not a huge fan of taking hefty loans so planning to do around 50% in down payment and 50% in loan which I will aim to finish within 5 years. Is this a good approach??

What would be the best area to purchase an apartment or villa in Bangalore and why?

Every time I come back to my hometown of Kolkata, I see a deserted "para" or neighbourhood. Almost everyone I grew up with has left the city, leaving behind old parents. Beautiful big houses which were built by the earlier generations in the hope that one day the next generation would come to live with them torn down making way to ugly flats. It just breaks my heart. What are your feelings?

How do you guys approach buying flat / villa in bangalore? Any good contacts if you can share would help ? Are online portals reliable for searching ? How was your house buying experience if you can share :) Please feel free to to post any recommendations as well. Thanks a lot in advance :)

Please share any good residential construction projects in Bangalore, planning to invest in a property for living purpose. Wanted to know factors on which property decisions should be made ? How important is the builder should one go with only prominent ones like Sobha, Prestige, Embassy or some other not so popular ones which are also good ? What things to keep in mind while choosing project locations in Bangalore which areas are best ? Thanks in advance

Especially in a city like Bangalore where you spend 5 days in office Clubbing is not an option every weekend, considering how expensive clubs are and how antisocial I am What can we do apart from scrolling phone Or binging content indefinitely?
