 e.g. If office is in East stay in Yashodham / Dindoshi - malls close by, quick access to Metro & WEH.  
  
 It’s a high density high momentum city - that overwhelms people.  May seem like a con, but you get used to it.

I'm aware of the high rental cost and the monsoons, other than that anything specific to worry about. Also, which areas can i get a 1/2bhk at a decent cost.

So, i might get an opportunity at mumbai & the closest areas are worli, lower parel, mahalaxmi etc.

I need some clarity about the living conditions there since i've heard that area is one of the most expensive ones in Mumbai. Now, given as to how bad traffic is, i don't want to find place which is too far from office.

If anyone could give me an overview of how to settle there.

Also, i've asked for 14-15 as base along with relocation help as well from the company, lets see what they have to say about that. Is that a good salary? (previous was 10+1)

I'm moving out of my house for the first time to Mumbai. My office is in Andheri East, JB Nagar exactly. What areas can I target for accomodation? Also are PGs better or a 2BHK? Maybe getting a PG for the time being and getting a 2BHK with friends later? 
I did find a really good sea facing apartment in Versova near Versova Metro which directly connects to JB Nagar, should I pursue it? Not sure if it would get mad crowdy.

I got a job opportunity from HDFC bank. The job expects me to shift to Mumbai from Bangalore WFH currently. The pay is 30LPA  is it worth considering it according to the cost of living in Mumbai ? Hey Mumbaikars, I'm relocating to Mumbai this December. I wanted to understand the housing scenario there. 
I'm looking for a budget, 1 or 2 bhk to be shared by 2 to 3 people. It should have min amenities like a fridge and a washing machine. It's better if it's in a gated society. Max budget for total rent for the flat/apartment is 12k to 15k. 
Need your advice on if I should get my place near the office for a slightly higher price or should I go for a cheaper place slightly far from the office. My office is in Chirak Nagar, Thane.

Because for Maintaining lifestyle I think we should consider every aspect of expenditure.
And since the time I left Delhi ncr, i haven't had a chance to be in any city which has a closer or better public transport system.

Wanted to know any tips that you all might have for me, little worried about budgeting as might have to save some for home as I gradually aim to take the home expenses on me(I'm natively from Delhi, so my family is there).
