Hi all,
I am facing gut problems since 5yrs now. I always bloated and constipated. It started off after my school and it has been going on since then. Not sure if this is stress, lifestyle or what. Have tried all the medicines and what not but not getting the root cause.
I am physically active as well and that’s also not resolving this.
Currently I am working from home therefore I manage somehow but now it’s a huge blocker for my growth. 
I am just living the life counting every day and not sure how long this will go on.

Anyone else facing this or resolved this? 
Need help on this.

1) You develop a feature, covers every case where it can go wrong. Dry run 2-3 times. Then comes the day of UAT meeting. You are displaying feature in front of all stake holders and the feature breaks. 

2) You are trying to solve a bug. You tried every way there is which you can think off. You are scratching your head, figuring out why ? Now you finally decide you need big guns, ask colleagues/seniors for help and you explain them the issue and you also explain them the solution which you were trying. Now magically issue is solved or you atleast understand what was wrong and why it was not working. 

What phenomena is this ? Does this only exist to make you look stupid ? How ? Why ? There got to be some explanation for this.

I mean how ? Why ?

When is grapevine team going to fix this issue ?

Lately it's been really hard trying to cope up with derogatory comments and people trying to pull you down.

I build/refactored some of our codebase and things go south in terms of performance at few places. 
I realised the mistake and fixed the performance bottlenecks that happened because of me in least time possible. 

But people still look down on me on and manager keeps passing hurtful comments about the incident every now and then.

Moreover there's worse happening fellow people start blaming you for the performance of code you haven't even touched. You are just utilizing some function in your codebase written by some other person.

I don't know how to handle all this and what should I do to avoid this? 
Mistakes happen, bugs go on prod, things can break but as far as once everything stabilise, we should move on.

How do you guys deal with Office politics.

Example- 
Manager - This broke.
Employee - I think it may be because I did something

Next step - Fix the broken.

Don't have to say sorry explicitly when you already mean it. Simple. This is the right form of ownership.

It's something no one taught us. We have been molded the other way
- Broke a cup, point to our siblings
- Misplaced information on presentation, give excuses on how hectic schedule is

It's true, startup culture is going to change the world.
Babe wake up, it came to India too!

P.S. If this culture comes natural at your workplace, you may not realize how much less stressed your employees are.

What are your funniest/most embarrassing autocorrect fckups?

So, I fucked up an interview real bad 2 days ago, and my mind is unable to process it and cannot forget about it.

Don't know why I am feeling worthless from inside and feeling like this was my last interview. 

Maybe it's because of close to 40% hike I was getting on my fixed part. 

The results will be out by tomorrow and I am not gonna make it, I am pretty sure. 

I know life has something good in store for me and I am not seeing the future, almighty has seen it and he's simply driving me towards the path I am made for. 

But, how do I process it?

Fucked up an interview, unable to process it.

Today I got this notification from HDFC. I got reminded of all the goofs I encountered so far. I feel sorry for the folks who built this because obviously this would have been escalated but also such a fun thing to share
