Retirement plan
Hi all, I need suggestions. I am 32 and I have properties worth 3.8cr and my net is 2.7cr. I want to sell these properties and retire and live on the returns from fixed deposits. My expenses are 1 lac a month. I have already invested for my child's education and insurances are covered for upto 75 years of age. I also have some clients where I work as a free lancer and make 50k per month. I also have mango farm where I get avg 40k monthly income. Please advice.
You are richer than most of the it people... Early retirement is good... Born with silver spoon as well.. but do tell me how you made this no. Of net worth 2.7cr at this early age I'm struggling to make my ends meet .. pls suggest if possible ping me also...
Don't sell it and put it in fd it will be bad decision otherwise do something like freelance only

While these are great numbers on paper at 32, but these are not even remotely close to retirement at 32. If you spread them on a sheet, FDs will barely beat inflation. "My expenses are 1lac a month". This is for here an now. Add a 10% increase per year on general principle to your needs and you're still at 'my wife, kids and I have a fixed life. this is our life we do these fixed things forever, no surprises".
You'll make yourself ineligible for most loans with an agrarian and non fixed/freelance income.
A good plan to retire early would be to invest in businesses that either generate a lot of money at once (generally very risky like startups) or are more shock proof, and hopefully come with sellable assets.
At present you're definitely a year or two vacation ready. Not retirement.
In general, kudos on building this up from scratch. You seem smart enough to plot this plan with more data and less low hanging greed.

Thanks for the inputs, I liked the point where we will be ineligible for loans, which is actual key for me reaching this stage.
