Don't know specifically for engineers, but wlb is really fxcked up

If you go to an established team like Accounting, Retail ARC then its pretty chill 
 If you go to Platform or any New Product Team then it would need a lot of work but would give great learnings 
 WLB is pretty chill apart from Platform Team, it is only bad for people having On Call duty because you need to be available at night as most of the customers are active in US

Hi Everyone I got an offer from Tekion corp, Bangalore for SDE-2 role.

Fixed- 22 Lpa
Bonus- 2 Lpa
RSU- 6000 Unit
Total TC Offered - 24 LPA (22+2) (Not considering stock option for now as its value is 0 as of now)

Yoe - 3.7 years (almost 4)
Current company am working - A product based startup organization.
Current Tc - 15 Lpa (all fixed)

Please review if anyone have any idea regarding it and is it worth considering Tekion among this market scenario?

I maybe part of the parts team so please do review that too regarding work life balance for parts team at Tekion?

How many hours do you actually work per day?

I have adhd so I don't (read : can't) work until 2 days before sprint is about to get over then wrap the stuff up with anywhere between 8-10 hours pn both days.

Don’t ever join Tekion frontend job. First of all they will hand over intel MacBook Pro and they follow mono repo. You will keep waiting to run their repository and there are only 2 things table manager and form builder. You won’t learn anything new. And they are using HOC composition patterns which no company uses these days. Just for single thing you will have to fight with codebase for whole day. For god sake shift to modular coding style. 🙏🙏
Waiting for my offer from other company. Won’t even serve notice period here. Worst company ever in my life. 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, I am currently 22, graduated recently from a tier 2 institute and currently working at a US based startup earning 18lpa ( almost all base ) + rsu's, lately my family have been nagging me to do a postgrad, I am confused weather I should do an MBA, MS or not do a postgrad at all considering the years I will miss in workex. 

What should be my best course of action considering ROI in the next 10-15 years ?? 

P.S. Currently I am not sure what my interest lies in, but just try to excel at whatever comes my way.

I am a final year student. I have an oncampus offer from Tekion (Chennai) which is a 6M Internship(onsite) + FTE offer. The offer is low compared to other standard Tekion SDE-1 offers. 
I also have a offer from an early age web3 startup ($3M seed funding). The offer is an internship(remote) + FTE offer and FTE compensation is almost 1.5x times that of former.

Which company should I join? Will the name of Tekion internship on my resume help me get interviews of other better startups for FTE while applying offcampus?

I’m expecting an offer from Tekion soon for a SDE 2 role. Just wanted to get the range of their SDE 2.

Current TC: 14 (fixed) + 2 (performance)
YOE: 2.8 (including 1 year internship)

I have an offer from Meesho (but SDE 1 role) as well where fixed is 21 and 18 ESOPS.

How much Tekion pays to a SDE 2?

I have recently left Tekion and was considering executing my ESOPs. For executing my ESOPs I need to pay around $3.5 per esop to the company. Should I convert my esops to equity? Am looking for some advice from the folks who might have done this in the past.

 I have worked with a lot of my clients who own ESOPs. 
  
 Some points to consider in your case: 
 1. Tekion is not a listed company. Finding a buyer for the shares will be difficult. Considering this, Are you comfortable holding the shares till IPO? 
  
 2. Tax: You will need to pay tax at the time of exercising ESOPs. Again, are you comfortable with paying tax upfront?  
  
 3. If you wish to sell shares through brokers, check if company has right of first refusal. This way, you can a good deal and sell the shares to company (prior to IPO).
