Salary hold in Notice period
I resigned from HCLTech on 28 OCT. After that I got my oct month salary. But they have put my Sep salary on hold.
After raising my concerns, they informed me that they would place one month's salary on hold for employees who are on notice.
Is this policy also being applied to other employees?
I find this to be an unacceptable practice.
Company policies differ, I have seen this earlier as well. You can only request them to consider releasing half the salary to meet your financial obligations. But tell me one thing - how is your September salary not paid till 27th October?
