Hello everyone, This year I quit one company in 1 week only. They never paid me salary.but in ITR AIS portal it's showing that they paid the salary.How do I complain about this?

So I had an organisation as an SDE2 and left it within 4 days as I got a better offer. I did not resign through official channels because I hadn't got access to them yet but I left a proper email trail.

Now come tax filing season, I see that the previous org has shown a salary payment to me for two months according to my Form26. This is when I hadn't even updated my bank account with them so I did not receive any salary.

What should I do next? Currently tax filing is on hold and I'll be doing a late filing with a penalty.

Tax dilemma

I joined a company in a business/product role last October, realised it is not at all what i was told in terms of culture and expected work( detailed reason not important to the advice I need). Basic training was going on and i resigned in 13 days. It was an amicable resignation with my hiring manager(great guy btw) and org boss. HR said we will not pay you a salary as to adjust against  waiving off of notice period and stuff. I felt at that time it is ok as I did not wanted to serve the notice period(what is the point anyways). I also felt it is not justified to take that salary and wanted to quickly move to next steps. No money hits my bank account from the company as of writing this post.

Cut to this year June, I see an information mentioning a salary being paid to me for that October month while going through my TIS and AIS forms on ITR portal.
I reached out to the company as to clarify this.
I wanted them to provide me with a salary slip and form 16 at least if after all they are saying a salary is paid. 
They are not providing that saying it is adjusted.
I have a few questions here.

1. If a salary(more than 80k)  is mentioned in my tax(even it was so called adjusted), I must be provided with a salary slip right?
2. Am I missing something and am I in the wrong here?
3. What should be my next steps, I don’t want that  salary but shouldn’t they provide the salary slip and form 16 if it mentions it on my tax documents?

I did not wanted them on my employment history hence wanted no such hassle and here we are.
Need some inputs from people who understand these things. HRs or any other folks in the know.

Hey, experts of the Internet, I have a friend was working with a (not so small) company that I am not currently mentioning here so that they don’t have anything against me. My company always delayed giving us the salaries, claiming that the company was running under losses and there was no revenue. We even used to get our salaries 2 months late. But I was somehow managing. Now that I have left the company after serving my full notice period, how do I ask for my pending salary? What should be the legal procedure? Can they refuse to give my FNF because the company has no money?

How to file a complaint against a company for not giving salary in India?

I changed job in Oct 2022 , as i am a fresher and didn’t have knowledge - i didn’t check my payslips thoroughly and realizing just now that they didn’t cut tds from Oct - March . What will be the steps i have to do now in my ITR ? Is that illegal from my company ?
Will it be a problem for me?

Ps - Although they have cut ₹5156 from April 2023 in the name of total income tax , as per the new guidelines.

Quite curious about this because my understanding is that government is more watchful about cash credits. So would transactions like someone paying u through Wise/Brex/Paypal and the likes get recorded with expectation of us declaring it as extra income for tax ? I am not talking of inward remittance. Another example is u held some paytm gold for few years but now u sell some of it. Is it ok not to mention any of this while filing ITR? Anyone has some experience do share.

i have received some amount today from Cognizant as salary today. But the catch is that I worked in Cognizant a year ago ( left around Sept 2022 ) . And even joined another company which i resigned from this july. Right now i am on a break from work unemployed due to medical reasons. And i really got some amount today as salary. I am confused - my F&F was settled last year only . can i contact someone at Cognizant ? did they do a mistake ?

Hey, this is first time working for small startup, it's been almost 2ywars now and this company os not giving me salary slip, I have asked a few times but they keep ignoring the request. Also, being a small startup i don't get any ppf and other benefits. How should I go about it. I have recently heard that not being on ppf may let new recruits doubt about the credibility of work. They have lot of pending salaries and not having salary slip makes it difficult to trak how much is pending and how much I have recieved. 
Any suggestions will be helpful.

Later same year I joined other other company full time and received  regular salary and received another form 16.

Hi folks, I am filing ITR and I find complete mismatch between the IT portal data of FD interest earning, and my Banks’ data. I checked all the forms- Form 26AS, AIS/TIS, traces portal. But none of them match with Banks’ data. What should I do? For one Bank, the interest amount is highly undervalued, and for the other Bank, it seems highly overvalued. Any quick way to find? Which should be considered the definitive record of interest earned?

Hi, experts 
I was filing itr, so needed help, I started my job from May 2022, but before that I did an internship where I got salary credited to my account , it was around 1500 for one month (March) for this assessment year and also they did deduct a tds of around 300 rupees which I can see on my itr home page . So should I include those amount in my gross income while filing tds ( I have only included my current gross salary) ?

Hi all,

I had joined Mphasis and just only attended virtual on boarding and left the job as they fell back on promise they made. I had not received any salary for that. Just before tax paying date, I received form 16 saying I was paid salary and had to pay tax on that. In reality I never received any money from them. I mailed to HR help desk multiple times, I never received any resolution. What should be my next step.
