Sam Altman said it, not me
GPT 4.5 is right around the corner, friends. Total automation is not necessarily total elimination as some of it is displacement only. But a large chunk will be total elimination. 100 million white collar jobs are a lot. India has a few million white collar jobs in total. Even America doesn't have 100 million white collar jobs.
Wait. Aren't all rumours atleast second-hand?
WTF is a first-hand rumour? Something I'm propagating myself?

Altman's claim is as absurd as a Bollywood movie plot. India doesn't even have 100 million white collar jobs to lose. Get real, Altman.
He is talking about the world. There are 200-500 million white collar jobs in the world.

Wait wait you read too much into it.
He or she don't mention loss of WHITE collar jobs ONLY
A lot of automation will take away BLUE collar jobs as well. But then 100 million is huge. We have a population to feed
