Scary !
Now what will happen to these guys. There are not this much openings. No future in IT sector. I will not recommend to take computer science in college. Try for govt jobs or own business.

I am graduating this years from one of the tier 1 colleges and there are companies coming for only 6/7/8 lpa so should I prepare and try to get into psu/govt jobs related to CSE they pay close to a lakh per month for fresher but has slower growth but these are safe from layoffs or recession or pursue an MBA instead?
Do what the rest of us from Tier 3 colleges do. Take the campus job and switch a few times to get to the desired salary.

You will take additional loan for an MBA. The scenes are not good either in B school. Get a job, get good experience and try after a year or two when the macros are better

These are not typical job cuts type of layoffs. They are hiring for the same role at less pay.
