Guys I currently have a permanent job in an IT servicing company, toxic culture and shitty pay.

I recently attended an interview with Amazon for a non tech role I now have a job offer from Amazon for an L3 role, but it's on a contract basis for 12 months.

Should I take the offer or should I let it pass and continue here.

I'm a 2024 grad. I have two offers in my hand. One is from HCL - Graduate Engineer Trainee (ServiceNow role) - 6LPA and another is Amazon - Transport Specialist - Non IT - 3.6 LPA. 

I know you guys would say opt for the highest one. But my point is, I have good technical skills, so I'm thinking about taking the Amazon offer and shifting to a tech role from internal openings within Amazon after some period of time. Kindly provide me the correct path. Also correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

Hey everyone,
I am currently working as a security analyst working for a company that provides pentesting as a service to its clients. I am getting paid 17lpa fixed salary. I earn 80-90k from freelancing every month pre taxes.

So should I switch or not. It's been 3 years I am in this company and I can't see much growth now. I will be doing the same work. 

The work is full remote and the culture of company s also nice and workload is fine. 

What should I do?

Should I look for a product based company but most of them call onsite. I want remote work only that is mandatory.

My last job ended in Dec 2023 as amazon contract employee , i am trying to get another for dec to till date, in jan nothing converted to offer letter. Last week i got 3 offers from different companies one is contract role that came first , another is a crm company , i don’t like this company as there would not be any growth here & another is a services based company , all companies are paying the around the same compensation around 15 lpa , I don’t think it the right amount for me has to join one company for bread & butter , any advice would be appreciated

Hi Folks, I’m currently working as a Senior Category associate and Got an offer from an X company but the role is of customer support they offered me because I had prior experience. My current pay is 5Laksh/Annum￼ and they’re offering 8Lakhs for customer support role. 

3 disadvantages I have that is 

1.My current role is different and I don’t want to back to customer support again.

2. Currently working for 5 days with just one shift where as this company has 6 days with rotational shifts and offs. 

3. The location to this office is 20kms where as my current office location is 10kms.

Please help me make a decision? I should go for it for sake of salary or should I wait for same kind of role that I’m currently doing. 

Does this gonna effect my future career ??

One of my friends, who is highly talented and an adept competitive programmer, recently received an offer from "Tech Mahindra" with a package of 3.25 LPA and a 2.5-year service bond. Given the current tough economic climate, should he accept this offer or wait and prepare for better opportunities? Have you guys ever rejected an offer just because you thought maybe after 1 year I will get something better?

I'm currently working as a consultant. I got an offer in a core product based company that too for a senior position. I got a decent hike approx 40 percent and stocks as well 

I have switched 3 companies in my career of 4 years (currently working in 4th). This is seen as a red flag by interviewers. And I also strongly believe I have some growth in my current company (skill wise not money and promotion). 

But in terms of Promotion or Money I have to wait a lot. The hikes are expected to be around 10 percent max in the month of November and for Promotion I have to wait till next June 2025 probably.

What should I do now please advise 🥺

I got laid off in November. Had no luck getting an offer since then untill now. Recently recieved and offer from this company x. Glassdoor reviews are shit. They could only match my salary. Work from office with strict timings 9.30am to 7pm. According to reviews CEO is a hitler v2. Worst part is they have 3 months notice period. Only seemingly intresting part about this company is its work. Again, not so sure about that. They’re intlo building AI, ML and IOT solutions for companies.

Should I join this company and look for jobs or should I keep the offer and try for another one?

I am currently interviewing at a big bank in Dubai(on site)for frontend role but haven’t had any technical rounds with live coding or hard questions on js/react. They will pay me good money. Good means double of what I will get in India and zero tax.

The only good thing is salary as of now.

Should I take this opportunity seriously? Any advice?
