Cloud DevOps Engineer from a Year and a Middleware Admin formerly. 
I'm eager to switch to MLOps and learnt a bit of Basic concepts in Python. 
I bumped into some ML basics Training from YouTube - AndreNg, iNeuron etc and couldn't find a Quality content that covers all Fundamental concepts. 
I find most of them in GitHub and I'm a kind of learner by watching the concepts explained (trainer videos) with practical lab examples.
Can anyone suggest if you know any learning courses?
Or what are your recommendations from your learning experience?

Me and my wife are 30 years old software engineer with no kids. Draw 7 lac a month please some yearly bonus. We invest 2 lac a month combined into equity market through mutual funds. 

Expenses: 1.5 lac a month including everything, lives in Bangalore in good society, owns a car, don't thing much before spending. 

Still after everything left with 3 lakhs every month in bank account. Not sure how to use that. We both don't have any fancy "shauk" where we can spend and hence don't have an urge to earn more. 

Any suggestions???

 For us (primarily me) - got a dog, took a 6 month sabbatical, travelled to 30+ countries in this time, left job to pursue startup idea, spend time with parents, learn language, improve fitness, learnt some coding, etc 
  
 It’s a pretty good position to be in - just explore I’d say

Folks I need your inputs please. I am a single parent to two kids and have a full time job which is basically the only financial source and now WFH is ending and my problem is:

1. With the role n responsibilities i am fully booked for office work and not able to take care of the kids or house like i want to

2. Even if i hire someone like nanny i still thinking of their safety and activities they r doing bcoz i want to engage them is teaching or making them learn spend time with them as they grow be there for them ( bcoz i know how lonely it is to have working parents) so i don’t want them left with nanny bcoz i believe money can be made again but their childhood will not return 

3. Even if i get a WFH role, my time, energy and thinking capabilities will be taken up by the job only again leaving me less energetic, time to care for my kids

4 Everyone is against me leaving the job bcoz that’s the only financial source I have but i want to shift my stream maybe join as a school admin or start a food business that i can handle without much of mental stress but the pay will be way less

So I am looking for something which gives me the time and mental peace to spend and raise my kids with a decent money to meet the needs. 

What can i do???  please tell me any other way out or a guaranteed income source along with being with my kids

Hii all   I joined Infosys 6 month back but I didn't get any project yet also got training in testing but somehow I'm interested in math and Data science. I'm getting little bit confuse about my career. I would love to hear some suggestion to clear my confusion.

Confusion in career

I've turned 27, roughly 3yoe earning 50k which is low but I'm upskilling. Currently due to layoffs, AI news and just a very unhealthy state of IT things are getting very depressing and I personally feel like I've already lost or missed in life. 
People are planning to get married around me everything is so sudden. 

People of grapevine, what advice would you want to give people like me who feel lost. 
Any general advice such as financial planning, lifestyle changes or just tech advice any advice which has helped you to live peacefully and comfortably would be greatly appreciated.

FOMO in tech

Advice : Please stop with the tutorial and enrolling in courses after course. Doesn't take you anywhere. Been there and done that.  
  
 You will end up with stupid clones which does seem like a value add in your resume. It's just there in everyone's resume.  
  
 Build one project, one solid project, maybe something to do with MFE. Not CRA react app but something with webpack if you prefer. Maybe a ecom app with seperate mfe for order and billing. Show the interaction between them, post on Twitter while you build. Share insights and maybe you will end up being in a recruiter's eye.

I am ome of the regular corporate employees of India who is earning 3.6LPA in reputed MNC working on Java support. As I need assistance on my career and don't know where to ask, posting here . So below are the options I wanted to do but I am confused where and what to start.
1) Should I upskill more on Java only 
2) Should I need to switch to any other domain like AWS, Azure, cybersecurity 
3) Should I need to do any other integrated course which will be available in platforms like Upgrad.

Why these options means, I need to earn a decent salary par with Industry. 
These are the random options in my mind and I am unable to choose one thing. Due to this I am stuck in my career and my friends are earning more than me.

Hello people,
I graduated last year and joined a fast-paced startup back in july as an SDE (2023 grad). So many things have changed so far within the company. Company has closed good series B funding. The top level management has changed, my manager and colleagues resigned due to the kind of work and cultural shift and lots of work but I stood there and delivered projects (was making them from scratch). Whatever was thrown on me during this time, I took that as an opportunity and delivered that. I literally worked on 4-5 tech stacks and built complex projects from scratch with 3 members team only.

Now it seems like their ask is never ending and they again want me to put in another techstack since the existing products we built are working fine and we are just maintaining it now. The culture of the company is still very good despite having lots of work though the pay is above average.

I am seeing my friends around me joining another company and getting much better hikes. I also want to make a switch but deep down in my heart I have these questions coming up:

1. Should I switch before completing 2 years since it's my first job and I have spent only 1 year so far here. I really don't want to make this habit of switching again and again.

2. The kind of bonding I have made with my colleagues so far. Will I be able to get the same environment in the new company?

3. Should I join the startup again or should I target MNCs now. Because I have been building multiple complex projects for the past 1.7 years (this is my 3rd startup) from scratch and this is also getting normalized for me. Is it time to work on a scale?

4. Feel less valued sometimes. Despite delivering lots of efforts, it seems like I am not getting valued much because it's kinda hardware company and things go around that only.

5. Although, I am working on complex projects here but sometimes I feel missing out if I hear what others are doing. Should I go to a pure software based company?

6. I am not making much here to be honest despite having much better coding skills (10 base + 2.5 PB + 2.5 VP) but I am able to manage  my money well despite living in Bangalore. Should I be hungry for more?

I would be happy to read your opinion on these guys.

Confused in life ...

I have 7 years of experience in IT with Mobile technology especially iOS. But now I can see there is not a big, long run and easy adaptive market in future to stick with technology. People with 3-4 years of experience can do the same what I am doing now. Although I have Team build and project management skills also but those are another level of headache. I have some experience with back end Tecnologies also and I love technical work and problem solving things. So I want to know want to know what I need to start learning next which is in high demand and high in pay and what are the various steps to learn those things.
Some suggest AI, ML things some suggest Cloud Computing etc but nobody know what’s it way to grow with it. 

So I need your help with some brief short guidance  for what I need to learn next. I am open for It.

What’s next I need to learn ?

I've been getting into iOS development recently and have completed some learning tracks on Exercism, along with solving a few coding exercises. When I was learning React Native, I didn't give much attention to the core concepts of JavaScript, the basics, and DSA. This oversight is causing me some issues now, and I don't want to make the same mistake with Swift.

I'm focusing on mastering Swift concepts and improving my logical thinking and DSA skills. I'm also curious about the future opportunities with Swift beyond just iOS development.

Anyone have any advice or resources on how to effectively learn Swift and DSA? Also, what are the broader career prospects for someone skilled in Swift?

I have 15 plus years experience in different process in backend Testing, pensions and voice calls, also hv done diploma in HR through correspondence however couldn't upskill myself due to various responsibility at home and sickness in my family each year so hospital and house care was needed so wanted advice whether data analytics could be the right course for upskilling or higher LPA due to my diverse process jump or which will be a proper course to join - is Coursera good or upgrad for post graduation or coding ninjas - I am confused pls help, pls advice

Basically the title. I have been working in the sales domain for more than 5 years and for the last couple of years, I absolutely hate it due to stress and lack of interest. I have been learning python inconsistently for the last 1 year but now I have shifted my gears and learning statistics and ways to implement it on the real world problems through Python. Internal transfer is almost impossible as it is a pure sales organisation which outsource equipment from China and sell it here.

I am a little bit concerned about my efforts and time which I am dedicating for the learning as I have gone through various articles and similar LinkedIn profiles and found one point of commonality i.e. Almost everyone had undergone a course based certification from Learning Sites such as Upgrad, Simplilearn etc. this questions my process of learning and making me worried about my decision to go on a self learning path. I don't have any Godfather in companies or good friends through whom I can at least apply for a refer. All I can do is to apply directly over the website. Would like to know your opinion?

Is it necessary to do a data scientist course to transit from a different role?

Here is my background:-
1. Started Working as a full stack intern at a startup at 10K per month in April 2021. (Let's refer to this startup as A).
2. Joined A as FTE at 8LPA in Jan 2022.
3. Graduated in June 2022.
4. Salary got increased to 12LPA in July 2022.
5. The startup (A) was acquired in Feb 2023 by a big fintech and salary was increased to 18 LPA (14.4 Fixed, rest variable).

Considering my experience and salary, should I think about a company switch?

Honestly I do think that my learnings have become stagnant lately, I want to explore new tech which I am unable to do now.
