I recently graduated from my college, with a non-tech job in hand. I have a keen interest in analytics and insights and actively looking for jobs on different portals. But, what I am getting in return is rejections from every company in which I apply. 

I am demotivated and confused about my career choice, I want to know that I should continue to search for opportunities in  analytics domain or I should learn think about changing my domain by learning new skills?

Please help? It would really help me take a sound decision.

A confused recent graduate

As a fresher I am confused on what Carrier path to take. I have 2 internship experience one was in data science and another one in ML Engeneering. So iam confused on what should I pursue. 
How many paths are there available like Software dev/ data analyst?
Can one switch paths later after gaining some experience?
Which job role will be good in few year?

Can you guys shed some light on these queries?

I am an MBA HR and Finance Graduate, currently working as a Business Development executive for 10 months. 
I am thinking about changing my job from BDE to HR. 
And I am confused about searching for jobs. I also have plans to do a Data analytics course . 

1, Should I continue to do BDE? Does this field have growth ?
2, should I search for a HR job? Does this field have growth for males? 
3, should I go learn Data analytics course? Does this have any opportunity for working abroad? 

It would be great if anyone with experience could mentor or give advice for this dilemma of mine .. thank you in advance.

I have been applying for data analyst and junior data scientists role for the last 3 months but not getting enough response. I apply for more than 20+ jobs on daily basis lekin tab bhi kuch nhi ho rha hai. I have built 2 project on ML, 1 on NLP and 3-4 good project on data analytics. I graduated in May 2023 then I decided to learn Data science ( uske pehle bhi college me 3-4 mahine thoda padha tha) now I have so many doubts regarding my career and rejection
- Just because I'm fresher that's why they are not choosing me ??
- I'm from non-tech ( Bsc) .. isiliye
- or current job market hi accha nhi hai 

Ab to kabhi kabhi apne decision pr regret bhi hota hai.

To solve the experience issue I have decided to do a decent marketing job (only for 6-7months) so that I can show it in my CV aur kuch savings bhi kr lu.

Please guide me if you guys have any advice for me.

I'm a fresher with 1 year of experience in Wipro, I am an electronics graduate and joined the IT sector. Initially I have prepared core Java and Sql and cracked the job offer with a 4 Lpa package. I'm currently learning DSA with java and preparing for cloud certifications in AWS as part of my job role. I don't have clarity on how to move on further like do competitive programming or Front end or dedicate myself for Data analytics roles and excel further as a data engineer or as a Data scientist in future.
The buzzing sound of parents asking me to get a government job is also a factor making me question my career and myself.
It's the first ever post of mine on a platform, I would love to hear from anyone who gives me guidance.

I am confused as to which field should I venture into,

Big data or data engineering or cloud architect?

I like coding but not way too much.  (7 on a scale of 1 -10)
I love communicating and organising/managing stuff(9 on a scale of 10)


I love working with data but I dont want to be a generalist/data analyst.

Seeking Advice: Data Science

So I graduated from a Tier 1 college (non IIT NIT) in May 2021, majoring in CS, and got a job as a Software Engineer. And then just after a few weeks changed to a more CS based good named company. 

Gonna complete a total 2 years of experience, but not feeling if I want to be in the same profession my entire life (even if I consider becoming an Engineering Manager at some stage, that would easily require me first taking atleast 5 more years as an SWE). Not like I don't like coding etc. but feels like this ain't for me. 

So at this point I'm confused if this is my current job that I am feeling like this and it would get better if I change (there was a false alarm like situation that happened when I started this job, so could be a bias), or go back to school to do an MBA (lately I've been getting attracted to it like a magnet)

Even if I go for an MBA, I would want to try hands on on various specialisations (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Strategy), but will keep a good enough focus on Product, my prior tech knowledge could help me. 

Looking at both options, I've been in a dilemma since a very loooooonnngggg time, unable to decide which one to choose. 

Any people who've been in similar situations, can you please help me out ?

Hey everyone I have an experience of almost 2.7 years in TCS (as a fresher) I have been in a project since the starting. I am from the field of automation testing using selenium and java I also have my expertise in API testing! I have also completed 4-5 projects for the same client! I cleared digital may 23 cycle and my current ctc is 8.1 ! When can I plan for a switch and how much hike can I expect? 
And also on last question is automation testing future proof?

I'm 2023 btech grad, I have selected in virtusa, LTIMindtree and dxc but none of them are giving response to full time. They are just delaying the process. 
I'm worried about my future, and confused what to do, so that I land a job. 
I have knowledge of core java, sql, basic dsa(leetcode 150+) and very basic project(that  don't come in mini project category). 

What to do? ... should I prepare dsa or do backend in java? ... or just wait for the on boarding

Engineering grad. Transitioned into marketing right out of college. ~2 years of experience. 

Started out on a shit pay, currently underpaid but getting good exposure and learning a lot. 

This was a conscious decision as I am focused on learning, growth and personal development. 

Feedback is, I have made massive professional progress in the last 1.5 years and the company too (at my request) is giving me more agency to explore and diversify my skill set.  

This means; mainly more responsibilities, a few operations related decisions & tasks and a few sales calls and client presentations.  

I work at a very small startup and I feel, despite having the opportunity to learn here, the environment or mostly the pay is too shit/low. 

I am already a star employee here and I feel it would be a good time to switch, to be amongst a group wherein I can get more challenges and opportunities. Of course, a higher pay would be wonderful as well. 

While, job switching is an option, I am also thinking about doing an MBA. 

I feel if I can build upon this momentum and get into a good college - it would negate years of grind that I would have to put (in the current scenario). 

I really would like you good people to analyse my situation and help me out, please.

But I don’t have much hands on experience on development .. what should I do? Should I start searching for another company immediately or I should focus to gain more knowledge of development? I am working in a MNC and currently in a billable project but no work. I am pretty good in programming and development.
With an experience of 7months in total I am confused about should I try to switch to other companies and if yes what should be my plans for it.
Currently as I have 0 work in the project i am working to enhance my technical skills like DSA and frontend technologies.

As my pay is quite less (6.5Lpa ~48k in-hand) I want to increase it to atleast 15Lpa

Confused about my further action

I am a fresher working as a Data analyst in a growing startup. My current role doesn't include much of coding just python and SQL and sometimes little bit ML work. Currently handling 2 projects, and some of PM work to define some roadmaps.
I like engineering and coding in whole and want to know more. So do I switch to some SDE role or is there are more paths after Data analytics? I know ML, DL and NLP but not sure will it be a great choice to make career primarily in Data science.
So, I am little confused. Please give all good advices.

I am a software engineer with 12 years of experience. 
I need some suggestions.
1: Is it too late now to learn Data Science and pursue a career in it?
2: If I want to learn the necessary concepts of ML what path I should follow?
3: I find the maths behind the ML models a bit confusing can anyone please suggest any good resource for that?

I am ome of the regular corporate employees of India who is earning 3.6LPA in reputed MNC working on Java support. As I need assistance on my career and don't know where to ask, posting here . So below are the options I wanted to do but I am confused where and what to start.
1) Should I upskill more on Java only 
2) Should I need to switch to any other domain like AWS, Azure, cybersecurity 
3) Should I need to do any other integrated course which will be available in platforms like Upgrad.

Why these options means, I need to earn a decent salary par with Industry. 
These are the random options in my mind and I am unable to choose one thing. Due to this I am stuck in my career and my friends are earning more than me.

Please try to read whole message once.. it's my 3 years journey..

I joined Infosys in july 2021. Till now I have worked for 4 different accounts in Life science. 

Project -1 
I worked for 4 months only on spark, scala, Azure Data Factory. 

Project -2 
I worked for 5 months on azure but that is a migration project so there is no development related work. 

Project -3 (Python, AWS, YMAL)
I worked for 10 months in this project. This is a automation project. i am the only developer from Infosys and one more person is from different company. From scratch to release i only developed around 70% of the functionality and has written ymal scripts for infrastructure in AWS.. for this work i got one insta award and one unit Rise award as well. This helped clients to reduce around 5000 hours yearly 

Project -4 (Vue js, Php, laravel, AWS)
After 3rd project i asked my manager to give me any python related project but there are very less python projects in ADM. So my manager only recommended to this project so i have taken it. In this also I have done one integration for document storage library which is on premises of client we done VPC via AWS and then we managed to complete the integration it took almost 8 months to complete whole thing as there is no direct approach. I even done RnD and finished DocuSign integration. And I am doing now a full stack kind of application with the above mentioned technologies only..


I have interest towards python backend than front end.. so i learnt flask.. I can write clean code but not very complex like DSA but business logics i can write them on own.. I have worked on many technologies but i am not expert in any one.. can someone help me to get a good career path.. I have two certifications in azure(az-900 and Dp-203) and one in AWS(colud practitioner)
