Yup, the interviewers don't know the internal details of your company - what was main project and what was POC. Talk about your POC as if it were the main project, and don't mention the parts of the project which you didn't work on or don't know much about. 😄

Hello everyone. We, a group of three friends, worked on a startup idea for hyperlocal e commerce. We worked on that idea for about a year, held several brainstorming sessions, met with various stakeholders, learned a lot about the startup system, and improved our idea based on feedback, but we dropped it after a market study and moved on. We never registered our startup but contacted startup incubators and received guidance several times; now, how can I share it on LinkedIn and in the resume experience section? Can I include a co-founder title or describe it as a project?

I'm from a non-CS background but managed to learn Spring Boot, React Js at my college time. Now I'm going to complete 1 year at my company and don't have much experience apart from a small backend project (initial stage project) and some testing work. I spent my weekend learning Apache Kafka and made some basic projects (producer-consumer) using Apache Kafka and Spring boot to get knowledge of integration and working. I'm also trying to learn and use Kafka Streams in a project. Should I continue this and make a project or should I not mention Kafka in my resume as it is a big technology and it will backfire on me in an interview as being less experienced ( I consider myself a fresher only) and using such big technology? 
If I can write Kafka in my resume then what kind of preparation do I need to do? Should I learn some other concepts around it as well?

So I'm a developer, say for example working with a specific language like C#. Over the year I worked on enhancing my skills in C# and also dabbled over to look into other domains like AI/ML. What all should I mention in my performance review feedback? Is it wise to show that I went beyond my job requirements and learnt about new and upcoming domains where the product is currently not focused on? I also did some side projects and built some Android apps for fun. Does it make sense to add them too, to indicates that I'm not restricted to just one language or framework. I graduated in 2020. Started software engg job in 2021 April. Due to covid the joining date got delayed.
I needed money so I started a informal company/ vendor and I  built a team of 5-10 people and used to provide educational material to unacademy like mcq and subjective question papers of 6-12 th class. 
I got fired from apna last month. Should I include this experience in my updated resume?

2020-2021 : above mentioned work
2021-2022: Service based company
2022-2023 sept: apna


Question:
1. This work experience is not related to soft engg at all. So how does engg managers/hiring managers/recruiters see this thing?
2. I am thinking this experience can show I tried something different and had an experience of managing people little bit. 
I am afraid on how hr/ senior software enggs would react to that in screening call.

Basically the title. I am currently looking to build a good skillset and an attractive profile to land a job. I wanted to ask what sort of projects are usually expected from a person with 1 YOE (2022 grad)?

Moreover, what kinda projects would blow your mind?

I have a fair bit of proficiency in React and I primarily work with Java + OracleDB for backend. I have started learning Go out of curiosity as well.

Although welcome, I am not looking for specific ideas. I want to know how complex or ambitious should a project be to be considered at par if not impressive for my experience.

Why do companies giving such assignments which is not even on react js, it is on fabric.js, and isnt a single functionality is enough to judge. Along with this i got wireframe design to designed it as well. 
What is your thought on this ?

In the project I was worked as Support role and one of the framework which most of the people don't know. Know I am planning to switch but I feeling like I don't know anything. 

Now I am learning Spring boot through external paid course. I have one question when I try to switch are they consider me as fresher, because I don't have hands on experience on spring boot.

Hi Guys,

I am currently working at a startup and was previously working at an IT MNC for 3 months. I was put on the bench and laptops/assets were not even delivered for 2 months of requesting. When the assets arrived there was 3 weeks of compliance and regulatory training before which my position was eliminated as a result of business restructuring and downsizing. I got my startup offer (strategy type role)by then and I resigned from the IT firm with proper reliving letter and fnf settlement. I have now got an offer from a boutique consulting firm(after working in my startup for around 6 months) . I have however not mentioned this IT mnc in my resume at all since I did not gain any kind of work experience at this firm and it was not adding any value to my resume in terms of the types of roles I am looking for, I wanted to keep my other internships and startup tenure as they were more valuable. Is this going to cause an issue if I undergo a bgv process in my new firm? I have all the proper exit documents and there is no overlap of employment anywhere. Please advise. I am a 2022 pass out.
