Should I take leap of faith ?

So I have completed my B.tech. Now I have to look for Jobs. During the time I was in college(last year), I was Learning MERN stack but it has not been completed yet. Now in online forums, I have heard that MERN stack is getting saturated, and entering it is not good. So what is your opinion? Also is it wise to take some time, I mean like some months (6 or 8 months) to self-learn and land a Job after that? And should I learn on my own or go to some training institute? Can anyone Help me, I need guidance.

Currently I am in college 3rd year(EEE). Since there aren't really many jobs in EEE. I decided to pursue my carrier in software. So far I have learned full stack development and built some small websites to. Since the internship season is coming I have applied for a lot of postions on various websites but not really getting any replies. So my question is should i continue grinding the full stack devlopment even though competition is at all time high(saw 2000+ applications for 1 intern postion 🤡) and fear of AI(DEVIN) Study AI/Ml since it's the trending topic. But there aren't many postions jn india Learn web3(solana +rust). Many people are telling there is no future in it. But I saw some of my frnds printing money in this tech So senior software enginnering please 🙏 help your fellow junior

I am working in a service based for a multinational brand. However i am not satisfied with the job, learnings and salary.. I am having 2 yoe on a cms called Drupal. My work mostly revolves around site building which requires no coding at all. Its very basic. But I want to get into high paying jobs I am learning DSA but i am worried that what i have been working on for 2 years might not be taken into account as actual experience. I am worried that big companies might reject my profile because of this lack of real world coding experience. I am really confused what to do. My manager is pushing to get a certification in Drupal and get hands on experience on coding in drupal (php, jquery, twig). I don't think drupal has scope when compared to mern. I don't see a lot of jobs for drupal when i search in linkedin or naukri. What's your take on this ? The problem here is i am really confused whether to continue learning MERN (i have been learning and have a decent idea) as mern looks like best bet to me to apply for big tech companies. Kindly please advice. Thanks in advance.

I joined the company in Dec of 2021 and since then I have been completing udemy courses and company wide seminars and everything except work. I got into a project around June and till now I haven't done any work at all. When I ask the manager about this he always says the profile has been sent to the client, they will let us know about work and stuff like that. Towards December he just saw my messages and didn't even reply back. I was off-boarded from the so-called project a while ago and when I asked about this he says I'll be shifted to another project. "P2P movement" idk what it is. In summary: on paper I have 1 year experience but I don't have any knowledge about work and I'm functioning like I'm still a fresher. I don't think I can quit as I'm on a two year bond. I got this job when I was in very desperate times and I'm very grateful for it and the salary I'm getting but I'm still at a place where I can't tell anyone what work I did in 1 whole year in a company. Maybe I can prepare for some competitive exams or prepare for another job, but tbh I don't know anything about anything. My friends tell me to chill out since I'm getting paid for doing nothing but I don't feel that, I feel I'm stagnated to a point where I can't see where I'm going to end up in my career. I don't even know if I'm an experienced working professional or still a fresher.

I am 3 years into my career and I have deep passion for Software engineering. I genuinely like it. I want to become a better engineer by going deep. But since the time of my internships in college, I have always been fascinated by startups and want to have one of my own. Now I have an idea(again very passionate about) and I’m working on it but my dilemma is that if I run a startup, it’s going to take me away from my other interest of engineering. Any thoughts?

I'm a 4th year student from a pvt college. Did 3 internships, one in a decacorn, one in a unicorn. Have an offer from Amazon for SDE 1 when i graduate, and one from the company I'm working at right now. Reached so far only with development skills, projects, hackathon wins and OSS contributions. My leetcoding and competitive coding skills are downright garbage. I have absolutely no motivation to become a leetcode monkey and get more offers, but given the current market scenario, seems hard to get good offers without mugging up 800 leetcode questions. Folks in software engineering who made it with leetcode, how did you do it, and what did you do to kill that builder urge and mug up leetcode. I can't do this anymore.

Hello folks, I am working with a startup (now acquired by a big fintech) as FTE for 1.5 years now (Full stack dev) , my TC is 18 LPA (14.4 Fixed + Variable) in a permanent wfh model. The reason I want to switch is that my tech team is very small (4 people) and there is no senior person in my team from whom I can learn something, thus my learning has become stagnant technical wise. Should I try and switch company or stay in the same for more time, considering the current market scenario? PS: I am a 2022 graduate.
