Is working on your own startup while in MNC a moonlight case, will it lead to serious blow from your company. Wanted to know the opinion what happens when your manager finds out that you also run a startup. What are the possibile things you can do to avoid this ? Any recommendations by anyone . Or any things to be aware of ?
I don't know whether it's moonlighting or not, but majority startups are created like this.
Just make sure you don't compete with your current org, and don't launch just the next day you quit your job.
What if we have already launched and are continuing it as side Hustle till the time it becomes enough revenue generating
Most people are understanding, but stay mum and keep doing your work without any drop in your personal performance.
When you're confident enough to take the risk, you can surely talk to your manager and take an official permission to officially continue something on the side as long as it doesn't interrupt the regular work.
Most people are understanding but some are not. So it depends.

The repercussions of getting caught would depend on the situation:
1. Whether you are making money on the side. If no, then I’m not so sure that would be considered moonlighting
2. If you are working in company time and using company resources for your startup
3. If you are working with the existing company’s clients
4. If you are starting up as a competitor with your existing employer
If it’s 1 and/or 2, then you may be terminated. If it’s 3 and/or 4, the company may file a case against you. If it’s neither of the 4, then you’re safe because you really aren’t doing anything that would damage the company.
Also, make sure not to use your company resources (laptop, internet, etc.) when working on your own thing.
