Heard they have mandated 5 days WFO and one of the investor has become CEO. Would there be another round of layoffs?

Expected layoffs May last week - low probability July first week - high probability Who's hiring? Could someone refer to their companies?

I have been hearing from multiple friends across organizations in India. Lay offs are not in news but happening silently across boards. Companies are on cost cutting mode. Interesting year ahead

My friend informed that silent layoffs are expected in Gojek today

Today, all of a sudden, some folks got emails that they have been laid off. There is an uncertainty around the transparency of layoffs now. It was communicated org wide last March and November when then last 2 layoffs were conducted. This time, no-one seems to know how many people got impacted and who got impacted. Some people at head/lead/senior positions have started voluntary leaving as well. Not sure if they are being asked to leave or if they are leaving themselves. Hard to see these things happening in a company with an amazing work culture. :/

How is the work culture at gojek, gurgaon ? Also, are they hiring?

I am expecting an offer from GoTo for a senior data science role. How good is the culture and whether they provide mobility to SG ? Safe to join GoTo given they had layoffs recently? Thanks
