Silent layoffs upcoming 😔
I got to know a senior leadership member at a popular startup suggested to deliberately do poor appraisal for an employee so that she resigns herself.
Bad times ahead with companies forcing employees to join back offices and planning silent layoffs.
PS: By "forcing" I mean not leaving employees with much of an option other than to quit.
All the excess hiring is finally catching up. Don’t worry the senior’s job is next on line the way things are going.
These are not new things and happen all the time.
These bad times don’t look widespread. Some posts or data where freshers are securing 2022 level packages and even same company which laid off is hiring… It looks bad in small pockets.
Can you please share the name of this startup? So people who got offer can avoid joining it
