During a trip to Thailand, me and a colleague accidentally swapped bags. When I called to explain the mistake, his wife accused me of trying to seduce her husband. She harassed me with phone calls, and later threw eggs at my residence. Then, set her husband's bag on fire and got into trouble with the police. She was then arrested.

I would also like to address those who said that the story is fake. It isn't. I genuinely posted this here because as a woman it is hard to find spaces online to vent my frustrations. I was genuinely distressed at the moment and my flatmates did take care of me. I also received tons of support from the community here and I am thankful for that.

Here's what happened next:
I decided not to press charges as I am living away from my family and I don't want this to be the reason they start interfering in my personal freedom. Over the weekend, she apologized and invited me for dinner, I obviously declined because she acted all insane before.

But she is literally so dramatic that she lied to everyone that I came to her house and hit her so hard that she puked all over her clothes. Thankfully, their society has CCTV coverage and I didn't even leave my home all weekend. So, no one believed her this time. 

Our group thankfully supported me throughout this and the colleague is no longer in the group. Now, I just want to get over this traumatic experience which when I look back at is too unreal to even think about.

Here's what happened next, after Police arrested my Colleague's Wife

I was standing near Whitefield in my 4 wheeler around midnight, just away from the hustle bustle of the fast life, smoking a cigarette and had a beer 1 hour before the incident (beer can was present in the car) when a police Jeep stopped and asked me to come out. 

They checked my entire car (to find more illegal drugs 'read Marijuana') but didn't find anything. 

Started threatening me with the car seizure. 
When I asked them to do breath analyzer test as I was 100% sure of being in the permissible limit, they asked me to come to police station for the same after they issue me a challan. 

How can they issue a drink driving challan when I am not drunk and without a breath analyzer?
And started threatening me with 25000 rs fine plus car being released in 6 months plus more than a lac of rupees in lawyer cost. (Ofcourse bullshitting me)

They were doing the proper good cop bad cop tactic and I had to pay them 7k bribe just to get out of there. (Couldn't risk the whole court drama, couldn't afford time as I was roaming without the knowledge of my family and avoid anxiety to them and my car also has northern registration)


But is this justified ? 
Can we not even smoke a cigarette in our vehicle in this godforsaken city  ? 
Do we need to be mindful of the goons or the police ? 

Anyways, what is the best way to get out of such situations?

Recently, I heard a very interesting story about Swiggy from someone. Their mum booked a high value order as a surprise for them on Swiggy. Since they had a Swiggy One subscription, the whole family used the same account.

Halfway through, the delivery person calls them, says the vehicle broke down. Mum steps away to deal with something else and when the delivery person calls again, their dad picks up. The delivery person says the vehicle broke down but he'll figure something out and send it with someone else, but to do that first, he'll need their details. He proceeds to ask for their phone number (linked to account) and for the OTP sent from Swiggy? Sounds super strange but the dad took pity and figured sure, let me try and make this delivery person's unlucky day a bit nicer — after all, it's a Swiggy account anyways, what harm could it do. He shared the OTP.

Almost immediately after, the delivery person changed the phone number for the account and everyone logged in lost access to the account. Ofc, he scammed the order for himself. The real kicker is that their Email ID was still linked to the account, so anytime the delivery person makes an order, they get an email with his order details. So far, they've been regularly getting order details emails with orders for paan, gutkha, cigarettes and some sides/chakna, all to some mall. 😂

Now, cool story bro, but how is this Swiggy's fault, you ask? Well, support has been contacted multiple times, over multiple accounts, but to no avail, because clearly their customer support has gone to shit. Even with the address and phone number of the delivery person who scammed them, and having an email id linked to the account, they've been of absolutely no help, as if their hands are tied. Their user workflows are so brittle, they don't account for the simplest locked out of account scenarios, let alone address security concerns and protect the customer from their own agents. Truly a wonder this company is worth anything.

3-4 months ago I shared my story on Grapevine about the brutally traumatising experience I faced at the hand of my colleague's wife who had accused him of committing adultery with me. This was obviously a bogus claim over a small misunderstanding around a bag which had gotten exchanged with my swimsuit in it.

Here's what happened afterwards.

I was out jogging last week in the morning. I've been trying to get in better shape for this summer as I'm planning on going for a beach vacation in. couple of months. After sustaining Zone 5 consistently I was going through my cooldown regimen for normalising my heart rate. 

Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder from behind and it was none other than that colleague's bitchy wife. She had shaven her head weirdly. This was extremely problematic imo because she is a known deranged person(read the last post to figure out why). I tried walking away but she started blocking my way.

I asked her what happened and she said that she was sorry for what happened and started crying. She said that her husband said that she had humiliated him and that people at work didn't talk to him properly for weeks because of what she did. 

I started walking slowly while acting engaged in her dialogue. As soon as I was about to reach the end of the park I started running towards my car that was parked outside and drove off.

I am very worried. Is she stalking my whereabouts? What should I do? My flatmates are trying to console me but I thought 4 months down the line everything was forgotten. I am extremely paranoid about what is happening.

Was told by his gf ( now fiancé) recently that she cheated on him twice - 2 years back and one year back

She told that she had only kisses with other guy and it happened because she was vulnerable at that time 

While this happened she didn’t tell and once the marriage thing started happening - she confessed 

Both of their families know each other as they were about to get married 

Now this friend is asking if he should move on or give an another chance

Husband asked about her relationships and she said she isn't in one. No pressure from the guy's family about marriage. Girl said yes and for months pretended to be excited about marriage.
