I’m a very private person and I was a bit confused whether I should write here or not, but anyway.

So, day before yesterday I was sitting on my chair after dinner and was thinking about my life and what the hell am I doing.

I realised that,
Saala bachpan se aaj tak race me hi bhaag raha hun. Pehle school me 1st, 2nd, 3rd aane ki race me. Then acche college milne ki race me. Then uske baad acchi job milne ki race me. Then uske baad agar ladki chahiye toh uske liye bhi ek race hai (Don’t have a gf, plz don’t take me wrong, it was a realisation)

My current daily routine is like this:
Wakeup everyday, write code, go gym, dinner, and then sleep and repeat this cycle everyday.

School ke dost peeche chhoot gaye, college ke dost apni life me busy ho gaye, colleagues se main zyada baat nhi karta and main akela padh gaya.

Feels like life is not intriguing anymore, it has no spark left. Its so painful to live everyday.

I feel like I don’t want to live any more, I want to die but I can’t cuz of 2 reasons.
1. I’m the only son of my parents.
2. If I die like this, then I won’t be able to come out from the birth cycle.

That’s it

I'm not Good in Study but i never disappoint my family studying hard working hard. Never fail.
But they never happy of me always want more.
In 2021 COVID i done my graduation around August. Till then everything is okay I'm with them not like happy i want love of my fam which i feel still Missing. In September as of COVID didn't have any jobs they started why you free go to hotel if your degree not Worth ( BCA ) Wash utensils bla bla i left home with 3k move to another city to my friend I have good knowledge but all they require for job is training certificate and other to get a job in IT. I have done a calling job for 3 months and get a off campus job in Infosys as 14k (WFH) I'm happy i did tell my parents no reaction i know its too low but don't have money to do course and time to sit and polish my skills move back home and i give 10k at home nd 4k for my expenses around 1.5 years done same then wfo call then they again what is purpose of 14k now i have a job which pay me 25k (again it low pay I'm happy) one day I'm sitting with my mom we have a family gossip going on suddenly they again make me feel useless nd i notice nowdays there is no love. When my own make me feel like this and made me cry what i can expect from other. Seriously 
Money make respect, money make love. I don't believe in love which is shown when you hurt. Its a pitty only.

From the outside, my life right now looks great. I graduated with a great GPA from one of the best universities in DU, completed my banking stint in a top tier group and am now happily working as a Management Consultant in Monitor Deloitte. I'm in a relationship with a girl I'm crazy about, I have good friends, I'm attractive, fit and have the world ahead of me. That's what the outside sees. In reality, I'm a messed up kid feeling my way around in the dark through a world that I feel wholly unprepared for.

I grew up poor. At times, I was very, very hungry. The first few months my family was able to crawl out of poverty, I continued to overeat because I still vividly remembered the hunger pains that often kept me awake at night. I lost one of my siblings and I always blamed myself for what happened. I was sexually abused by a relative. I witnessed things in my city that still send chills down my spine.

And then there were my parents. Sure, my mom loved me and wanted me to be happy, but unfortunately she had no idea what it meant to be a good parent. My dad was an abusive piece of shit that saw me as his competition, not as his son. We still don't speak very often. On an especially bad day, he had once again taken his rage out on my mom, but to rub in the humiliation he had her wipe her own blood off the walls while he stood and watched. I tried to intervene, but I wasn't much of a match.

I, too, was a bit of a piece of shit. I was aggressive and found myself in fights very often. Though I was smart, I was lazy and didn't do all too well in high school, where homework and not exams governed your academic performance. Needless to say, at 16 I looked like I was destined for a mediocre life at best, but probably likely to end up as another case of wasted potential.

I don't know what changed, but one day I started turning things around and ever since I have kept the momentum going. I had the highest grades in my class in 11th and 12th.

I soon got into a college that I did not deserve and met the love of my life there. And from there I busted my ass to get to where I am today.

I earned my own money and paved my own way. I didn't use my past as an excuse to fail. If I didn't make it, I knew it was nobody's fault but my own. I also knew that nobody would care. 

If one day I broke down because of all the stress, the world would keep on turning as it always had.

Nobody cares about the struggles I went through. They care about who I am today and who I'm going to be.

And, I guess, that's my message: take responsibility for who you are, where you are now and where you will be. I don't care that it's a tough economy. 

I don't care that you go to a shitty college. I don't care that an unlucky string of events rendered you less competitive than your peers. And nobody else does either. We will continue living our lives the same way we always had, but you will suffer the curse of your own laziness and incompetence. It's a tough world out there and if you want to compete in an environment as ruthless as India, you need to forget about the excuses and find a way to succeed. 

And if you can't? Well, you weren't cut out for this world anyway. Nobody is going to pamper your bruised ego and give you a job just because you want it. You need to earn it.

I was with you till last paragraph, unnecessarily harsh. Many people face unavoidable circumstances, women especially, doesnt mean one can look down on them. 
  
 Fully agree with taking extreme ownership for yourself and your career.

I am fed up here as I don't see accountability anywhere. 
There was a Telugu Movie starring Mahesh Babu where he being CM says, in foreign, people are responsible and accountable and they made their lives beautiful. How amazing, right? I truly resonate with that thought

We lack accountability in everything we do.
- if something goes right, it's us, if wrong, it's them!
- We don't hold our govt politicians on their promises, on delivering things of value
- Companies go on screwing us, we don't give a damn. Refunds are processed without timelines, cases in country are backlogged for years and years
- We cannot even keep our cities clean, our air pure and our water drinkable and we are least bothered by it
- We cannot maintain our own infrastructure like Buses, railways, trains. We fucking are stealing mugs from railway toilets due to which it's chained (wtf!)

We don't want responsibility and no one should question us.
How are we really supposed to grow?  
Stringent laws in place helps with accountability of companies who at all times think how can I squeeze more money from people and screw them
Accountability keeps everyone in check.

[Rant] We lack accountability in almost everything

The obsession I regret the most in my life is the all or nothing behavior.

Where, 
- I'll apply for a job only after knowing everything there is to know for a role.  This is why I used to see people with half my knowledge applying and getting jobs and moving ahead in life. I used think it's so unfair that they achieve in all aspects of their life and I in none...
- I'll date someone only when I know I am the perfect version that I envision for myself 
- I'll only take photos when I am in my perfect shape. If I don't have 8 abs, I don't deserve photos!
- I'll stop questioning whether I am good enough only when I achieve everything else I am a loser

I just was very cruel to myself for my own imperfections!
This instilled a fear in me that shattered my spirit, self confidence and self worth.  I ended up being afraid to pick anything up. 

If I couldn't stay course in something and for some reason I wasn't able to do something for a day or 2, my perfectionism mindset said, that's it, I am a failure and I thought, nothing can be done now and gave up

This resulted in I procrastinating in things. 
Why to work hard, I am never gonna make it...
I have 100 things to do in life else I am failure but I don't have time to do all that in this lifetime. Perfectionism results in not doing anything!

After meeting people, self introspection and podcasts from people, I realised its okay to mess up, its okay to fall down. I should dust myself off and continue! 
It is so hard now to change yourself after years of disappointment. You need so much positivity and letting go of perfectionism. You need self love and kindness... 

TLDR -
Don't be like an OCD person obsessing over things to go exactly the way they want!
Don't reject yourself due to failures/setbacks. Dust yourself off and move ahead!
It's okay to be imperfect as long as you promise to be consistent!

Why is it that some men show too much interest in you for initial few weeks, like asking for ig and then ig messages. Seeing your stories just about the instant you post it. They tell you about their last break up they can't get over with but still tell you that falling in love is the most beautiful part of life and talk about wanting to settle down - until the time you show interests and hola! They suddenly change their verdicts - suddenly they're no more interested. Suddenly they get busy and don't respond to your messages anymore. 
My question to men, what do you seek from a woman when you are looking for some serious engagements. Whom should one trust with attachments?
