In a shocking turn of events, a former employee at MoEngage, while serving their notice period, reportedly downloaded over 1,000 files, including confidential pitch decks, proposals from active deals, and sensitive product documentation, onto their personal device. This individual allegedly shared the stolen data with a competitor they were preparing to join.

As a result, this competitor has started appearing in all of MoEngage’s deals, armed with insider information, and MoEngage is facing unprecedented losses against them. The IT team at MoEngage flagged this alarming activity, and the former employee is now facing legal prosecution.

Context: Took my parent for a Piles checkup as the issue was flaring up. The first thing they checked was my insurance coverage details. The consulting doctor (more of a quack) recommended immediate surgery as 'it may lead to much greater complication if left untreated'. Inwas ready to go for it but my spouse recommended we see more doctors. Both the other doctors (very reputed) said this doesnt need a surgery and that my parent would need some rest and palliative care and that it would be ok in a few weeks. This is what exactly happened.
Funny part - this was two years ago, but since my number was the registered number, I still get periodic calls asking me if I had decided to go ahead with the surgery and that Piles can only be managed with a surgery.
The founder in any case, from his prolific Linkedin usage, seems like a righteous jerk who would rather believe that employees should not be expect compensation but be as loyal as dogs.

Hey folks, I work at Plum and this week launched our State of Employee Benefits report (https://www.plumhq.com/state-of-eb). We dug into a ton of data and turns out employees in India don’t really get a good deal when it comes to insurance and other health benefits. Here’s some more interesting aspects - 

1. While Unicorns are doing better than most companies out there, even competing unicorns could have vastly different policies and coverage

2. Enterprise safety is a real thing. They definitely tend to do better than all the ‘hyper-growth, hustle is life’ startups

Made the terrible mistake of buying a health insurance from this firm. Now with the latest app update it's trying to read my sms and access my contacts and won't proceed further until I allow the app all the permissions. 

Do you need to share your contacts to access your health cards in case of a medical emergency? 

Let's say someone from Navi - say Sachin Bansal - gets a blood cancer diagnosis or a brain tumor - will he/she be willing to share all the smses n contacts with a third party? 

Nobody in business has ever of made it big by being an ass hole and anti customer. Karma eventually balances you out.

A few days ago, one of the senior folks used his influence to get latest 6 months data from the competition (who is kicking their ass). Shows the data to the CEO and other C level folks. Gets a broader audience too. 
Funny part: code of ethics clearly stated that no corporate espionage. 
Should I report to the board or someone anonymously or should I just ignore ?
I am so pissed that I want to move on from this organisation.

They even played a facade to showcase they were afloat by hiring people in Jan 2023, and moving to a larger office space. 
The employees allege the company had promised to clear the dues.

This was backed by the Kalaari capital and others.

50% layoff at a Bangalore  based health tech startup. Founder had no shame or guilt. Has raised funding recently but chose to fire people again. This is the third layoff in the last 1.5 years. Terrible management, declined variable pay. Severance is to paid in the next 4 months. Just trying to pivot the company into ‘AI’ without any plan whatsoever.
