 I would say 12-20lpa range for a 1 year exp APM is realistic. outlier comp of course can be anything because they are outliers.

Hi guys,
I am currently working as an APM at an AI startup(B2B SAAS) working on genAI product. Have 2 YOE and base of 20 LPA.
Looking to switch due to growth barrier and work culture. 
Have given interviews with startups in similar domain for APM roles but getting ghosted after 3-4 rounds. I am looking for 20-30% hike.
Am i asking too much?
Any suggestions?

What is the average salary range for PM1 roles in top fintech firms?

I have an offer from a firm where they have mentioned that their current apm has a payscale of 8-9.

Isn't that a bit too low?

I saw a report by the product folks group where they collected 550 data points & found the avg salary to be around 16. Now, that is pretty high & im not sure whether they've collected the data from only big tech startups.

My previous was 11(10+1) & i initially mentioned 13-14 which i dont think they'll agree on. Should i ask for 12 fixed & let them decide the rest?

I've been working as an APM at a startup for about 6 months. I kinda fell into the role. Was a developer previously for about a year. So in total about 2 years of industry experience. As an APM, I've not gotten a lot of opportunities to work on hands on PM stuff.
