Stay in .NET/Low Code or Switch to Data Engineering

I am trained in .Net Core domain, and I’m working in Outsystems low code domain since 2 years. As Outsystems is a niche tech, there aren’t much projects or opportunities available in the market. Now I have 2 option, switch back to .NET ( i forgot most of the stuff) or start with Data Engineering. What should i do? ( I have interest in both, all i need is a secure domain where I can get a job)

Data Engineering is booming and offers more job security. Upskill in Big Data tools like Spark and Hadoop. .NET is stable but less in demand. Choose based on long-term goals.

Thanks for your reply. How can I get a job as I have only development experience. Will it be ok?

I have 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst but no experience in Data Engineering. Will it be possible to get a job as a Data Engineer after learning Spark, PySpark and Hadoop?
